When I've pressed option one after a scam artist hang call I've received from (440)527-6042 the female said "you are being recorded, when I told her to sto calling me".

This number has been calling me daily for two weeks now.  I called it back, but I dialed *67 first.  I got the machine greeting like most of you.  I owe no debts, therefore it MUST be a scam.  440 area code is the Cleveland Ohio area, i.e. Far east side suburbs or far west side suburbs and etc.  I never answer it and will report to the Ohio Attorney General, but I doubt if anyone cares...

This is a debt collector or a scam. Don't bother picking up, block this number.

so I said "uh, I was the one called from this number?"

and they hung up.

So dunno if its a bill collector... if it is, they're not doing a very good job...

When I called Back, it said thank you for calling NCC, a Division of Commonwealth Financial.  Must be a bill collector.

They are a scam company.   To make them leave you alone, file complaints with the FCC and the Ohio State Attorney General.    Here are the  links:

I had received calls from this number many times, I really hate this annoying calls.

Had this number on my caller ID. Answering machine light was flashing for message, but there wasn't one. Called ID said the call was from Brivia Comm LLC and showed this number. Don't know who they are although they are in the same area code as we are located.

I received a call from this number and when I answered the phone system asked me to "press 1" to talk to a representative. I did so. An operator replied  "how can I help you?"  When I told her that I received this call and want to know why I was called. She hung up :(
