This number comes up as Leukemia Society.  This ID name comes up with different numbers all the time. They call several times a day from early in the morning until later in the evening. They never leave a message, but stay on long enough for my voice mail to come on.

Got a call from this number - they hung up when I answered

I have four different numbers they are calling me from.  Everyday they call.

Asked for Mrs. Jenny and didn't leave a message.

Got 3 different numbers for the same thing. Leukemia Society. Another one is 410-968-7971. The other one I had blocked. But now they have more numbers than I can block. What ever happened to the "Do Not Call Registry"? I think someone is not doing the job we are paying them for.

These a**holes call from various locations, since when do charities beg for money?
These are the numbers they call from 443-205-1069, 240-699-8899, 434-878-9934, 410-968-7971, 202-552-0876.

I too have donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in the past.  Even volunteered to stuff envelopes for the neighborhood fund-raising campaign.  So, now, they call me 2-3 times a day from a multitude of numbers.  Of course, I don't answer.

At 1:58 p.m. Thursday, June 10, we received a call. No one was on the line. Caller ID said Cambridge, MA,

There was a call last night that I missed from Leukemia Society.  Today the callerID says 'cellular call' with this number.  I answered and there was no one there.  It hung up on me a few seconds later.  I blocked both numbers.

Why not?  Does money not go 85%+ to cause?  Did you find some other negative to helping such patients iva this group?

If my phone is ringing you can be sure it's this number....one donation and FOREVER on their list....

I do not believe this is a true organization as they use several different names when calling, from  "The Leukemia Society", "Your car warranty is about to expire" to "Lowering your credit card rates"  they never mention any name of the credit card holder how do they know how many people are in the house and if any one has a credit card. I always check things like this out with our money institute and find that they do not make personal calls for information they have all that already.  I am tired of their calls they even call all day on Sundays.

443-205-1069 LEUKEMIASOCIETY calls my house 2-3 times a day. This number comes up on my CID list more than any other number!. We contributed to leukemia Society several times but never through a phone call. Does anyone know how to stop this? Help!

I one year had them send me a packet of which if I recall, I put stamps on and sent to neighbors asking for donations of whihc I would then send back to them. Had a good reply, but also wasted a lot of stamps. Now with stamps being 44 cents each it would cost me $30-$40 to do it again, so I politely decline. I am sure they are doing good work but no more calls, rather annoying, especially late night or early morning!

My number is on the "do not call registry" yet I keep getting unwanted calls from this number.  ARG!!!!  Every single day.....

phone numbers can be blocked check with your carrier. also, what I tell them, Sorry I DO NOT do anything over the phone, wait for a response and hang up! it seems to work I get hardly any calls but some do come back in th future and try again and I give them the same response. I also, pick up the phone, pause, don't say anything and hang up, if I do not recognize the number, it eats into their costs because it connects and they get billed for time, and they have not called back.

Caller ID says Leukemia Society - no one answers when you pick up.  They call 3 or 4 times a day.  It is very annoying.

They have called us now 13 times in the last 16 days, as early as 0850 and as late as 2115. Sheesh!  Why they think this is good PR escapes me!
