Got a call from "Anthony Williams" at this number claiming to be from an Electric Company (not our provider), saying we owed $1500 in back payments.  When I told him that wasn't our company, he wanted to know who our provider was.  I told him I wasn't going to tell him because it sounded like a scam.  He told me to have a nice day and hung up.  

This clown called yesterday.  He has a convincing tenor at first but fades after a few minutes. I called LE to verify that he was not who he purported to be.  Your time is coming, d****ead.  Perhaps you could find a legitimate way to earn a living.

Received a call for Robert Koval.  Scam extrotion.

We Just got a call from this number and I  saw these posts on this website.  He talked really fast.  I was suspicious when I heard a kid crying in the background.   I went to the DEA's webpage and found this notice.

DEA Warns Public of Extortion Scam by
DEA Special Agent Impersonators

The Drug Enforcement Administration is warning the public about criminals posing as DEA special agents or other law enforcement personnel as part of an international extortion scheme.

The criminals call the victims (who in most cases previously purchased drugs over the lnternet or by telephone) and identify themselves as DEA agents or law enforcement officials from other agencies.  The impersonators inform their victims that purchasing drugs over the lnternet or by telephone is illegal, and that enforcement action will be taken against them unless they pay a fine.  In most cases, the impersonators instruct their victims to pay the "fine" via wire transfer to a designated location, usually overseas.  If victims refuse to send money, the impersonators often threaten to arrest them or search their property.  Some victims who purchased their drugs using a credit card also reported fraudulent use of their credit cards.

Impersonating a federal agent is a violation of federal law.  The public should be aware that no DEA agent will ever contact members of the public by telephone to demand money or any other form of payment.

The DEA reminds the public to use caution when purchasing controlled substance pharmaceuticals by telephone or through the Internet.  It is illegal to purchase controlled substance pharmaceuticals online or by telephone unless very stringent requirements are met.  And, all pharmacies that dispense controlled substance pharmaceuticals by means of the lnternet must be registered with DEA.  By ordering any pharmaceutical medications online or by telephone from unknown entities, members of the public risk receiving unsafe, counterfeit, and/or ineffective drugs from criminals who operate outside the law.  In addition, personal and financial information could be compromised.

Anyone receiving a telephone call from a person purporting to be a DEA special agent or other law enforcement official seeking money should refuse the demand and report the threat.

Received a call from this number on 19Jul2013.  Sounded "official" but "fishy".  DId an internet search and came up with this page.

They are using it as Federal Prosecutors wanting $500-$900 on green cards or they will charge you on a case they think you should be charge.

Just got a call from this number... They said they will put a warrant out for my arrest. I'm not sure what to do and if its a scam or not??

Those a@@holes scared too many people - they are stealing and impersonating FEDERAL AGENTS for their scam.  I just told them that real agents will be there with in the hour with search warrants so I hope someone hurries and shows that it's been time for the gig to be up on these guys for a long long time and it's way overdue!

i just got a call from these guys and when i told  him i knew it was a scam they hung up.  i contacted the FBI immediately and they are investigating.

I received a call from this number on 6-14-13. Demanded that I return call. His voice sounded very professional and serious. Special Agent Robert Culvalt(?) Called the FBI and found out that they are

FAKE DEA.  Wanted me to send $958.00 for fines using green.moneypack.  Called the REAL DEA and they said this is a SCAM.  Call 877-792-2872 to report them to the DEA.
