How annoying. They called my wife's cell phone. It was a recorded message from "United Travel Promotions," telling us that we had entered our name and number at an event, and that we had one two round-trip airline tickets, along with 3 days and 2 nights free accommodations, at one of four locations in Mexican resort cities (Cozumel and Cancun were two). They informed us that we would have to call 800-282-3958 to redeem. This call screams "SCAM."

i recieved a call to my home then it was directed to my cell  from this number asked if this is my name m------ i said yes  company asset acceptance was taking about a bill that is over 10 years old from a company called blair their real number is 877 850 0087

Spoke w/ Irene Clark and informed her that she had the wrong person and# and that I researched their company and #. She began to get outraged in a different language.

Wow!!!! If she or the company calls 3x more time I will sue for harassment and/or emotional distress.

They called me too to collect a debt from my deceased mother. They started calling me on Thanksgiving which was 5 days ago. My mother passed almost three years ago. If they keep calling me, I will call them every 5 minutes. I have unlimited long distance.

this number calls me multiple times a day and when i answer nothing is said then about 5 seconds later it is a busy signal!!! i am on the national do not call list and this number still bothers me.... and there is noone there... not even a pre-recorded voice!!! what do they want from me????

This is a debt collection agency called Oxford Management. They called my home 12 times after I told them they had the wrong number. They say they've taken my number off their service and yet the calls keep coming. I'm seeking legal action now to make them stop. They are idiots who barely speak English.

These people keep calling me!! They never leave me a message or answer the phone though. It makes no sense! It never says the company name or anything but from what Wikipedia tells me its from Maryland..

Called my phone and didn't answer because no one I know has a 443 area code. Went to voice mail and said I had entered a contest and I won! But you have to call this fancy 800 number.

I recieved a call about a roundtrip ticket. Told me to call an  800 number. Pretty dumb imo

I just got the same call! But it was from 301-882-9944. The voicemail was all the same crap though.....OBNOXIOUS!!!!!!!

Same thing... except they call and its dead air.  I was reading on how some of these autodialers call before a real person on thier end can pick up the phone so that might be why no one ever talks but the line is not instantly disconnected.  I dont get hungup on.
I called the number back and its 'The promotional office of sam star advertising'.  I know I didn't give this number to anyone.  Its probably a dial the next number XXX-2010... XXX-2011.. and so on.
I hate these companies... who falls for this s**t?

The ID I had on my phone was Sam Star, based in Maryland.  They claimed that either I or my spouse (deceased!) filled out a form and Congratulations we won!  We have won a round trip ticket to anywhere in the US as long as we are a married couple or I am a single female between 25 and ? with a household income of XXXX.  Plus, $100 certificate for gas.  All I have to do is "drive down to a 'fairly' entertaining presentation on what we have to offer."  to redeem my tickets I was supposed to press #1 to choose my destination.  I had already wasted enough time.

Bastards called me with the same thing.

Received an automated call to my cell phone (unlisted number) from United Travel Netword stating the I had entered a drawing for free airline tickets and I had won. Stated several times that there was no obligation to purchase anything and all I had to do was attend a 90 min (again... NO OBLIGATIONS) meeting discussing their services.  From reading up on this- HUGE SCAM.

I got this phone call this afternoon on my cell phone. The lady said she was from the Federal Business Development Bank and they'd picked my phone number. She asked for the man of the house. I reamed her out telling her this was a private cell phone with an unlisted number and she had no right calling it. Think she was thankful to get off the phone. Now, I'm wondering how they got my cell phone number. Got suspicious when she asked what my yearly income was and then got flustered when I told her in no uncertain terms that I wasn't going to tell her.

They called and claim they were debt collectors saying I owed $708 for a medical bill.  They had my name and address and was very insistant about collecting and setting up a payment plan.  I told the woman no and that I would like to speak with my doctor's office first and insurance company before I make any settlement.  I then called my doctor's office and spoke with the office manager who says that I only owed $465 because my insurance was terminated.  I told her that the collection agency was asking for a different amount and so she proceeded to ask me about the collection agency who called.  Apparently they work directly with another company called Burke and she has never heard of Oxford.  We are currently running an investigation on this company.  If anyone out there has received a phone call from that number recently, please beware and do not give out and credit card or bank information!

this number keeps calling

I receive calls from this number 443-550-7969 and the caller ID says: "Santanna."
I have never actually answered the call, but they do call 3-4 times per day.
Glad to have read the previous reviews, and now I plan NOT to answer
when they call.

F****rs called me on my work phone. Only people who have that number are my customers. My family doesn't even know my work phone number. Not even my parents. This is crap. They said a family member filled out something for me and me and my spouse won a round trip fare to somewhere and I was like yea... scam *presses 7 key* "message deleted you have no new mesages". Google'd the number and this site came up. So i figured i'd rant lol.
