I have taken the time to read each post and the confusion with the (443) 660-9300 number that has called each of you.  As it shows on the internet, Whitepages and many other communications, this number was originally associated with our mortgage location of Emery Federal Credit Union in Owings Mills, MD. The number now is associated with Peoples Bank and Trust at the same location as we simply moved our portfolio from the credit union to a FDIC insured bank. We are the same branch, management team of loan originators, telemarketers and associates calling out to veterans and home owners to ensure that you are aware of the possibility of lower interest rates. As we originate in all 50 states, we are not confined to just lend in Maryland. I can assure you, the call may not have taken place at the most opportune time, but it is NOT a SCAM. In many cases, your existing lender will not contact you if interest rates are lower unldess you take the initiate and ask the question... they simply have no incentive to do so. We are simply making outbound calls of awareness and to bring new clients aboard.  We apologize if there was any confusion.

caller ID said peoples Bank left no message. Phone rang again one time after I searched this number.

People's Bank calling with lies about being required to call me because of lower rates. If that were true, my actual bank would be calling me not her. She's a big liar and obnoxious too.

Caller said she was People's Bank and lied to me about being required by law to call because rates went down. We don't even do business with them.

They called and didn't leave a message on the machine.

Caller ID said it was Peoples Bank.  We live in Massachusetts and do business with banks here so I don't know why a bank in Emery, Maryland are calling us.  Unless, of course, it was just to waste our time.  They called at 7:45PM.

I am positive this is a SCAM-called me and was very rude. Tried to get me to reduce interest rate. Keep calling me even after I adamantly told them I wasn't interested.

Called wanting to give me reduction in home interest rate.  They said they were from peoples bank in Maryland .  Don't know if legit or not

Getting calls from this number also - shows Emery FCU on CLID.  Have not been answering since I do not have an account with this bank.  When they call they and hit my answering machine they do not leave a message.  Called them back at 7:45 PM ET today to see who answers since most banks are closed by this time and this number is in Maryland so I was not expecting an answer.  Guy answered saying "Peoples Bank and Trust, how may I direct your call".  I told them I had the wrong number and hung up. Kind of surprised me so I am not sure what to think about this number - especially since I don't do business with either Emery FCU or Peoples Bank & Trust.

I don't think the call is really coming from Emery FCU because that is a credit union located in Ohio, and the area code (443) for the number this caller is coming from Maryland.

They call frequently. I never answer and they never leave a message.

Caller ID said Emery FCU. Googled it and said Emery Federal Credit Union. Hung up after leaving a message with papers shuffling. Don't do business with them and don't know why they are soliciting out of their area.

Called my house and hung up on the voice mail. We do not do any business with this company.

Call my home twice and hung up when answered.
