They called several times not leaving a message, then when a family member answered and said that I wasn't there, they would leave no message or any information what so ever.  Pretty cagey about it.

I recieved a call/ hang up too.  The caller ID reads "HV Contractors".  Automated phone systems dial several numbers at once and connect a sales person to the first caller who picks up and disconnects all the other lines.  This is probably why you continue to experience this from the same caller.

They have called me from 4 different numbers.  I have stated that I am on the Do not call list.  The state of Maryland website says to tell unsolicitated telemarketers ... "Put me on your ?do not call' list."
The Federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 requires companies to keep this list. Your request must be honored for 10 years. Exception: nonprofit organizations do not have to comply with this law.
