I just received a call from this number, didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the area code. Looked it up - it's from Baltimore, MD. Anyone who it's from?

I'm so glad I googled this number and read all of these comments. I first looked up the area code to know from where they were calling and saw Maryland...so I decided to google the whole thing. Now I know not to answer because they called me three times already. Thanx for whoever began this thread

I received a call from the number in question, they said it was something about a sweepstakes and they needed to know if I have Visa, master card or american express card.
She had my name and address, offering magazine and a diamond watch or something and other sweepstakes. And when I told them that I was leaving the Country for good, she just hanged up.
Now I am scared, that they have all my information...
I too have tried calling back, but have not received an answer and get the same "non working number or code" with a English speaking male voice.
I'm not going to answer unknown numbers anymore.

Received two calls from this number today with no caller on the initiating end. Tried to call it back and recording indicates it is a non-working number.

I've gotten calls from them too. Its a magazine company. They told me that I was entered into a drawing where I can win 25,000 in cash, a mustang and a whole bunch of other stuff. Don't answer. or say that your not interested immediately

I just got off the phone with this number too... They said it was something about a sweepstakes and they needed to know if I still have a Visa card. I had to say "not interested" and tell them to take my number off their list 4 times before they said "thank you and have a good day." The 3 other times they tried to call me today no one was on the other end...
We'll see if I get anymore calls from them...

I got a phone call from this number after getting another one with a strange area code earlier (in which no one said anything when I picked up). I was assuming it was the usual scam with the auto issurance warranty that was popular earlier this Summer. I picked up this one and someone said I won a sweepstakes, it was a talking person but she sounded uneasy so I knew I could mess with her. I asked how she got my information and she said it was from a major credit card I own. I am only 20 and do not own a credit card. I told her that and she asked my name and I said shouldn't you know? and she said no because they do not have any of my information. She eventually got so fed up with me she told me to have a great day and hung up. I tried calling back and it said it wasn't a working number.

Who the hell is this number and how did they get my number

Same as most others...received two calls from the number in question but nothing on the other end when I answered. Call appears to drop as soon as the connection is made when answering. I too have tried calling back, but have not received an answer and get the same "non working number or code" with a English speaking male voice, which repeats in a Spanish speaking female voice. I'm simply not going to answer anymore.

Im glad to see that I am not the only one getting phone calls from this number. Does anyone know what should we do to stop this number from calling and trying to scam people?
