got the call and it was identified as a 9723783660 number on my cell, but when i checked the VM it was the 877-945-4595 number. I've tried calling back at least 4 times and the line rings 1-3x then disconnects. this is frustrating. not leaving a company name and a number that doesn't connect through is not going to get anyone to continue calling back.

They just called me and said they wanted to verify my personal information like social and address.  Said she was with DRS.

I received 2 phone calls from this number.  The first of which I forgto to return.  The call did leave the message that they were Capital One Auto Finance and wanted to ask me some question about my recent car loan.  When I called them back, they did answer capital One Auto Finance and the lady immediately asked for my auto loan number or my social, then asked me to verify my date of birth and then wanted me to verify the amount of my monthly auto loan amount.  When I told her I could not verify the amount because that information was at home and I was at work, she asked for a close amount.  I told her 290 something was as close as I could come to telling her and there was nothing but silence on the other end.  She had hung up on me.  

To me that is VERY unprofessional, to say the least.  And, if she is with Capital One, shouldn't she know the monthly amount

I got this call also just yesterday but they clearly identified themselves as Capital One Auto Finance. I bought a car recently.  They asked questions about payment plans and managing the account.  This is legit but yeah without identifying info anyone who didn't get that was smart to hang up.

okay, lets clear this up.  This is a legitimate number.  When you get a loan from Capital One they give you a courtesy call and do not ask you gor all your personal info.  They tell you the info they habe on you and you verify that it is correct.  End of story.  If you dont believe this tnrn just call them back at one of their online numbers.  Thanks and have a nice day.

they say its capital one auto, but when I verify with capital one, its not theirs, its a spam asking for ur personal info like ss number

It might be smart for Capital One to properly identify themselves. I received the same phone call and called back the 1-877 number. A gentleman answered the phone and immediately started asking me for personally identifiable information. I told him that I was not going to continue. I called Capital One back at a different number. The initial call was legit, but they definitely need to change their approach.

Both of these numbers belong to Capitol One Auto Finance........ If you have bought a car and they financed you it might be smart to take the call! lol

No 877 but just left a message that wanted to speak to me with the number 945-4595.

I keep getting this call too, really starting to piss me off. I did get that exact same voicemail with the same call back number. How do you make this crap stop?

Call shows up as 9723784101 and gives number to call 8779454595 and states they look forward to speaking to me but does not identify themselves.
