Same, craigs list image scam, figure there is a virus in the picture.

i got a text message answering my wanted ad on craigslist from this number too. so i forwarded it to my computer and looked at the web page. it wanted me to download a program called gimp. and when downloading it, it also installs,
friend checker
savings galore
yahoo toolbar
save the children reminder
and it changes your homepage.
good thing my son and i build and program computers. the average person would have all kinds of problems with all this adware and hijacker programs it installs. i was curios to see what it was capable of doing so thats why i opened it up and downloaded it all. now everyone knows.

Same b***s*** I got, someone that acts like they are questioning something I had on craigslist. Does anyone know where you can report stuff like this and they actually do anything about it ?

Received text msg with link to picture. Link takes you to fake photo hosting website. Picture icon says you don't have the correct viewer and wants you to download the viewer. Download probably includes virus and/or trojan. Do***e bags...
