Got a txt from this person for an ad I placed on craigslist it said she was looking for a fourwheeler like mine for her boyriend and sent me a pic link that didn't work tried calling the number and said that it didn't exhist.

I Also recieved a message for my want ad about seeing if the picture they had would meet my needs and now I have to devirus my computer. Not a happy camper and they need to be stopped.

Got a response just now from my Craigslist wanted ad asking me "would this work, if so it's yours." B***s***. Thank goodness I used Heywire and not my real number so IMG Send was the website that filtered it for me. Craigslist needs to lock this down!

Got this message saying they were interested in my craigslist ad......attached a picture saying they wanted to trade..... went on the web and there were 14 claims of it being a telemarketer and several claims of porn/virus .......

MY TEXT FROM 443-955-6591 SAID IM INTERESTED IN YOUR JEWELRY ON CRAIGSLIST BUT WILL IT WORK WITH THIS? IMGSEND.COM LINK. Glad I did my research before opening it up on my computer. I could not view them from the iphone thank goodness.  I hate these jerks doing that and I am very glad yall are all posting and warning.  Your posts worked in my case.  Thank You!

Anyone reading this don't download this on your computer. Beware!!! Use allternative means for pictures.. If they are sending this from a phone by text use that method don't youthink. Also another number being used 317-644-2031

I just got the same message as above but the link was PHOTOID-184WTM in response to my CL wanted ad forth parts. It was texted from a 1-301-775-9961.  My. Cheap phone could not log on thank God. Porn , viruses,  malware are things I dont care for.  I hope this helps someone stop this person.

I got the same type of  text  msg from 480-436-8082 regarding a craigslist wanted ad.  Saw this site first, and did not open anything. The phone number itself does not work.

I also got a similar text and was unable to open the pic.  It was the same format asking "but will it work with this?"  Didn't make sense for my ad.  So in doing my research, found this site.  The phone number I received was 412-208-4579.  According to People Finder, it is a landline in Pittsburg, PA.

1/6/13 Received a text message in response to a Craigslist 'wanted' advert.  It asked me to look at a photo at http://pic-soft.NET.  Before going there I searched and found pic-sift.COM - a different company.  It didnt smell right.  The phone number the text was sent from is 407-545-6059.

This number is completely involved with sending people to a spam website picsoft. Annoying and a waste of time

Got answer on a want ad on craigslist using this phone number and stating

but when clicked the pic it asks me to download a GIMP 2.6 plugin and AOL and other software when installing it that I don't want, then after downloaded and tried to open pics again on pic-soft.net photoid 140WTM.jpg.gmp, nothing opens, also, when I searched the 140WTM.jpg it had porm info but thank God I was protected on my computer,  But it did say from a cell phone in Baltimore, Maryland????
Can you find out who it is with out the cost, and warn others if it is bad, if not I don't want to ruin a good real estate deal. Thanks, for your help.

then it had a box your can check thats says REMEMBER then another  enter button!
