Prank Call
Same exact story. I actually had a prescription for Soma and bought it online a few years ago.
The sad thing is I fell for him and about had a heart attack. Then I started to calm down and ask questions which really pissed him off. Then he pulled same tactic as above. Have fun spending the weekend in jail - see you in court on Monday. I just told him I didn't have the money to pay a fine today....he had never said  "today".  He told me the very minimum I could pay was $500 (went from $1,800 to $500). I told him I'd have to even get that from my son. So I'm supposed to call him back. Thank android for having call blocker programs on my cell phone because the 443 number is the one he (he left a message on my vm at first).  I had already blocked a call from 562 earlier.Thank you everyone for taking the time to add this to the host of information out there.

Prank Call
Received a call earlier today from this number ....... claims to be a DEA agent and that there was a warrant issued for my arrest for illegal important of pharmacy drugs from 2008.  He was pretty harsh but also an obvious scam as he proceeded to tell me that because of my clean record, a judge has agreed to drop all charged in exchange for immediate payment of a fine.

If you look across the 'net, this scam, from this same number is happening pretty frequently.

Prank Call
Yep ... just got a call from 443-957-4654 claiming to be a DEA agent calling about internet prescription drugs.  I had ordered one time, Ambien, back in 2008 and he had that information so it is pretty obvious that the sellers are now the scammers.  This guy seemed pretty convincing for a couple seconds until he said that there would be a DEA agent at my door within 45 minutes for an arrest.  I asked what county the warrant had been issued and was told "San Francisco, Ca."   I live in Florida.

At any rate, he said he would have another agent call back shortly and within 2 minutes the phone rang from #562-472-0252 ... same scam.  I told him that I was aware of DEA scams (having quickly just looked online) and would be calling them to confirm his identity.  He knew their offices were closed and told me I didn't have time for that ..... but that due to my previous clean record, the judge in this case had approved immediate payment of a fine.

Guess I played along dumb too long cause the guy totally lost it - said "an agent will be at your door in 45 minutes," said "Good luck spending the weekend in jail until a judge can hear your case" and slammed down the phone.

I wanted to call him back and tell him that we must have been mistakenly disconnected but my wife convinced me to just ignore it all.

This number has called several times and he is saying he is special agent Anthony Williams from the DEA and that there was a warrant issued for my arrest. He to had a think accent. I've never done anything wrong to have this happen to me so I don't know what this is about. So he can come get me. I don't think any agency would be calling you if there was a warrant out for your arrest. The local police even said so.

Today at 11:20 AM PDT, I too got one.  I've also gotten these calls from a 425 area code (Bellevue, WA) and another from Berkeley, CA, over the last two and a half months.  At first I was shaken, but with the last call, I tried back late in the evening about 2 weeks later and got a message that it was an 'unassigned MagicJack' number, and to call XXX to get it for my very own.  That's how I found out it was a bunch of Malarkey!

Prank Call
I"vbe received a callfrom this number telling me I had purchased medication online and they have been watching me for 3 years and 6 months. He had an officer in route to my house to arrest me on the spot. But , he got in touch with the DA and said they could take my name off of the court order if I paid 3080.00 and send it via money order. He was going to stay on the phone with me as I got the money order! All of my prescriptions are from MY doctor! Nothing online! This is spam and I called the DEA to report it! This has happened to so many people... the other number is 510-725-4009. Google this and you will see the same scam!
This is outragious!

Prank Call
I had the pleasure of their phone call yesterday and today. These a***oles try to convince you that there is federal warrants written for you for ordering medication from another country without a prescription. They tell you that they don't want to ruin your life and for a "Fine" they can drop the federal arrest and search warrants. This is a total scam, they are just tring to see how much money they can get from you.

No Federal official would take money via Western Union to vacate federal arrest and search warrents. They would just execute them. Do not let these people con you. Do not send them any money. They are con artists!!!

Received a call from this number threatening me with immediate arrest - I told him that I didn't believe this call to be legit as I had never done any of the things he charged me with.  Needless to say, nobody showed up, no arrest.  This is obviously a nuisance caller and everyone should report it to the police or FBI

Prank Call
There have been multiple calls from this numbers to individuals in Georgia as well.
The DEA may actually have a reason to call someone on the phone but they always provide you a way to verify their identity.  (usually calling an office number that is listed in a phone book).
This is some sort of scam. If you get a call from this number notify your local Drug Enforcement Administration Office.
