I always press 9 and insult them right off the bat. "Get a real job you worthless ....." and so on. These people are paid by the number of people they qualify. You can always act interested, then tell them to hold while you get your purse/wallet and never return. Waste their time.

Ha...the DNC list is useless..these scammers get through anyway.  As a rule, I no longer answer the phone if it's a number I don't recognize.  This call came in on my business line but when I answered, "(Business name), how may I help you?", they hung up right away.  Damned phone assaults!

What good is the DNC doing for calls like this...I just wish they would stop!!

Area code 456 is a non-geographic area code used to route inbound calls from locations outside the North American Numbering Plan Area to specific carriers for carrier-specific services. In other words, it's a scam.

Got this phone call at the small business where I work, pressed 9 (only option - no "opt out" option), woman asked if I owed $3000 or more in credit card debt. I said that that's not why I pressed 9, they did not give me a number removal option, and I am giving her my phone number to put me on their do not call list. She asked if I would not benefit from having my interest rate lowered, and I said we're not interested, put us on the do not call list. She hung up on me. I pressed *69; the number is 456-000-5756. They need to be reported.

When I asked "Adam" if they check Do Not Call list, he said that my credit card agreements allow promotional calls, then got insulting and asked, " you did read you agreement, didn't you?"  When I told him to remove my number from his list, he said, " I will call you back twice a day," then hung up.

Phone Number Report: They called again this evening for the fourth day in a row.I pressed 9 (which is the only option),and a guy came on the line. I said "I am telling you again to NOT call here. I am on the Do Not Call list, and have reported you". He yelled at me saying "then don't press 9, that HE wasn't on the Do Not Call list, and your're not your husband don't answer the phone". Then he called me a useless "b**ch" and hung up. I don't have a husband. I ran "call trace" on the number, which goes to the police department. I also called the phone company (AT&T-useless) and will once again report them to the DNC. If that number comes up again, I will hit auto answer on my fax machine and then press 9. My 90 year old mother is also getting calls from them. Told her not to answer, but it is very disturbing to her.

Have been receiving calls from "credit card services" asking to dial "9" if interested in reducing credit card rate to 6.75%. We always hang up as there is no information offered other than a caller first name. Looks like a phishing scam to obtain information on current card holdings.

Pressed 9 and was connected to a Live Agent, who hung up on me when requested to remove us from their marketing list.

Got the call also - they said they wanted to reduce my rate on my credit cards.  I ran round and round with their rep about if they had a website, what the EXACT name of the company was, etc. I asked for information to be mailed to me. The rep. said she couldn't do that unless she had my financial info. Oh Sure, I'm not giving my personal information to any Tom, Dick or Harry on the phone.
She transferred me to a "supervisor" and she asked what I wanted - I told her I wanted a company name, address and telephone number - SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!  THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM AND BEWARE OF GIVNG INFORMATION

The call came in as 'unknown name' on caller id.  did not answer as it was a 000 prefix and have been warned about outrageous phone bills attached to these 'strange' numbers.  left no message and I did not answer.

I pressed 9 and asked to be taken off of their call list and the young 'man' started yelling at me that I was only supposed to press 9 to reduce my credit card debt. I tried to tell him again that I wanted my phone number to be removed and he so elegantly said 'wah, wah, wah' and called me a b***h and hung up.

Card Services or Credit Card services.They robocall tell me to press 9. Which usually ends up with me being screamed at when I won't tell them my SS#.
PLEASE EVERY ONE CALL and report them! to make sure they are punished at the national level many many people need to complain.1-888-382-1222. Do not bother trying to file a complaint on line. The Federal trade commission will just kick it out as an invalid number. CALL it only takes a few minutes and is VERY important.

I kept getting calls from this number and I am on the do not call list.  They don't call me anymore, though.  Once I pressed nine and someone answered, I blew a coach's whistle in his ear as loud as I could.  They stopped calling.

I got a call from 1-456-000-5756 this afternoon.  They left a  message that I must press 9 or my insurance rate was going to go up.  Blocked them.

Another call tonight..........would not answer...I am on the DNC list, but these people seem not to abide by the rules.

Just got a call from this scum.  Why are they getting so brazen?  Sadly that there are some people who are stupid enough to fall for this.

Been receiving these scam calls for a year after staying in Cancun, Mexico. Been on the D.N.C. list since day one and didn't receive them before. The timing was perfect.
I became suspicious that the hotel I was staying in was a "front" for Gansters to steal identities and left early so I could cancel my credit card and put a freeze on my credit report before they could steal my identity. I've told every one who I can think of(FBI,www.donotcall.gov,the on-line travel agency) about it. I don't think any of them took me seriously. I even told a supervisor with the TSA, and she looked at me like I was high on something. I actually even told her I was not drunk or high! When you know something's wrong, you just know it. I have been to Cancun 4 different times, but you could not pay me to go back. The palce is overrun with criminals. Russian or Armenian gangsters are behind these scams. They are operating outside the U.S. Hopefully, they will steal an FBI agent's identity, then maybe, something will be done.

Even though I've been on the DNC since day 1, I have been receiving this type call every week(sometimes twice a week) or so for a year, since returning from Cancun. I have reported them at www.donotcall.gov and to the FBI(at least 6 or 7 times). I don't think any of them are paying attention.
The Hotel I stayed in was clearly a "Front" where they were collecting people's identities for fraud. I was so concerned about it, I left several days early so I could cancel my credit card and put on a Fraud Alert at the Credit Bureaus. Do not go to Cancun!!! I've been there several times in the past, but I will never go again. Be extremely careful!
