I recieved a call from this number at our business.  I answered it and the caller asked for the store owner.  He asked about my credit and debit machine.  I told him that I'm not interested in his information that he's providing me.  He yelled at me "I'm not trying to sell you anything". He started talking about reducing rates by 20%-30%. He kept saying that he's not trying to sell me anything. So I just hung up on him. I think they're calling to fraud. Don't Give Any Information!!!

Received a call yesterday from this number - VIZEX PAYMENT CANADA.  They want to tell you how you are losing so much money from your debit/credit terminal because the rates have been lowered "30%".  After a long chat, and telling them what I was paying in % for VISA, MC, and my terminal rental rate, all to which I got an "Oh my, that's WAY too much!"  During the call there was a loud cheer in the background and clapping, and I remarked that someone must have sold a contract.  The fellow put me on hold, and next thing I know I'm talking to the supervisor, who spoke better english.  He continued the talk about how they needed my statement with merchant info blotted out.  I refused to send them my statement with information blackened out.  He "needed that" so they would know what kind of ticket amount we had so he could go to other companies and get rates for me (so kind of him).  I pressed that we are a seasonal business, and our current statement is for off season, which doesn't give a good idea of average transactions.  He had remarked that it would depend on if we were seasonal, etc.  I said give me a quote for seasonal business, to which he said he couldn't because he needed my statement again...  I told him flat out I wasn't going to give him anything, and I'd have to think about it, but not to call me, I'd call him.  After researching a bit, i found others that had the same issue, and it seems they try and steer you to Elavon/Nova/Tangerine processing companies.

We used to be with Tangerine, and they raked us over the coals in terms of fees.  We switched to another provided through CFIB and our bank, and will save the contract cancellation fee they charged us within the year (even though we had not renewed our contract and it was at an end.)  Stay away from Tangerine at all costs, from personal experience - they don't process their own credit card sales, and so they ding you, and their third party processor dings you, so you pay twice the fees, and their terminal fees were double what we are paying now.  If they wanted my business, they should have treated their customer better in the first place.

Now that I've told the guy not to call, we are being called by one of the other 3 "helpful" companies that want to save us money (all connected with Tangerine and friends).  Only 3 calls today, and no one answers when you pick up...  Gotta love autodialers.

I taken to playing along with the pitch, acting very interested and then when they ask me for information from my money machine vendor I politely ask them to wait while I find the information and then I put them on hold indefinitely.  I figure as long as they are waiting for me to return they won't be bothering someone else.  Also I get a tremendous sense of satisfaction just ***king with them.

Constantly calling my business asking about credit/debit machine and asking if we have received a rate reduction.  It always sounds like the same guy, asking the same thing.  He does become very aggressive.  Last time I just hung up as soon as I heard his voice.

Have been getting a lot of calls about the "reduction of credit/debit rates" and asking about our financial statements. This time I got the number: 456-879-5413 and I found out I am not the only one. I try to tell the callers that I do not discuss financial statements on the phone with a stranger. They are very aggressive in their pursuit for information. I end up always to have to say goodbye and hang up.

We have had about 25-30 calls from this number to our business number in the past 4 weeks.  Only one time did someone actually respond when the phone was answered, and they were inquiring about our credit/debit rates.  I simply said I do not conduct business transactions by telephone, was met with a string of profanity from the caller and they hung up.  But they still continue to call!

Area code 456 is mobile country code from Cambodia. Companies will use wireless numbers to "jump" countries so it's hard to track them back. Just hang up if this number shows up. It's not a company looking to help your business out but a company looking to help itself to your business.

Called our business line 6 times throughout the work word day but never anyone responding to our greeting. Sounds like an open line from perhaps India or somewhere and maybe there's a delay but I'm certain it will be about merchant supplies because I too have had run ins with people being rude and yelling at me saying they aren't trying to sell anything - which of course is not true.

Got a call from this number at our business.  Answered it, the caller asked for the previous owner.  Then asked who deals with credi/debit.  I told him I do and that I am happy with my service.  He yelled at me "I'm not trying to sell you anything".  I almost yelled back "DONT CALL ME AND YELL AT ME" but remained calm saying "okay..." he started talking about reducing rates and blah blah blah, I told him I couldn't help him.  Next time he can help himself to my foot up his a$$!
