Same here, the number that calls here is missing a digit: 456987 for it to be local. He said I have had 5 IP Address hacks from Spain. I just hung up.

Got a call from this guy, claimed he worked for Microsoft, then claimed he was calling from California - turns out he's some guy from India who is asking for access to your computer and will then try to get your credit card information and money out of you. BIG RED FLAG AND SCAM. Lied about his name and the contact number I could find him from. Contact the police if he calls you.

Just got a call from 456-987-1236 that showed up on my caller ID as Intl Inbound. When I answered the phone the person on the other end with an accent asked if this was (my name).  My response was... "Could be, who's calling?"  He asked again, I again responded with "Could be, who's calling please?.  He said "what you don't know your name?".  I replied with "I do know my name but first I would like to know who is calling me before I answer that question, so who is calling please?"  His response was "don't worry, just leave it okay?"  I replied with, "no, I'd like to know who is calling."  He was stunned and then hung up.  Called the number back and it says this number is a local number but cannot be connected.  Hmmm, funny...

Got a call today. Asked if I could help him, he repeated-"Can you help me." Hung up. Called right back, my father in law answered-the guy didn't say anything this time. Looked up online-this area code is used to route calls outside of the states. Hope this wasn't some sort of scam that stole my phone information.

I have received calls from this guy before.  The phone number is 456-987-1236.  I don't remember what the phone number was before, but I do recognize this guys voice. He sounds like he is of asian decent and after each sentence he always says "Okay". He claims to work for microsoft,and my I.P.address was flagged for some reason, and he wants me to go on my computer while he is on the phone. As soon as he starts talking, I recognize his voice. He just called again tonight. and I told him he was a con artist and that I was calling the cops. I asked him where he was calling from before. He said Toronto, then Niagara Falls. Same guy every time.

looked up area code 456 it was invalid

Answered call mid afternoon....no reply...then dial tone. When I dialed the number, I received the following message: "The number you have reached is not in service."
