The search said this is callerID4U...........what the heck is that with no message when you don't answer and I think another way to scam you.

I think this is a follow me phone number. when I looked up on a reverse number search It says callerid4u is the person or place calling. but nothing for a message when you don't answer.

Right.  I also just got a call from this number 458-201-0243.  Picked up but just hear dead silence on the other end.

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

This number calls me several times a day most evrey day. What a freakin nightmare.

Called by this #. Pressed 1 to speak to someone. Told him I didn't know what credit card this is regards to. He hung up on me.

I check out all phone numbers I do not know about. When Google shows that people have had questions about a number, and they have had a varied amount of different responses, these numbers go on my DNA list - DO NOT ANSWER. I have close to 50 such numbers. Such calls have slowed down a lot since I did this. It still happens occasionally but not as bad as it was a year ago. Good Luck

The caller id only showed the number. They did not leave a message. When I called back, they still didn't identify themselves. The automated system stated that it was "for auto opt out for phone number 458-201-0243". It then gave me the option of opting out. We'll see how well it did or didn't work. They must be real proud of their company, they make sure you don't know who they are, no message and nothing to identify them when you call back. Who would want to do any business with someone like that?

Pressed 1 to talk to person at Card Member Services who needs to get account No of banks you
have credit card loans.  Said a supervisor will explain rate reduction qualified for.  Asked to him back
and he said they are a call center in Los Angeles.  He will call me back in a week if interested.

I received a call from this number but I did not answer. And they did not leave a message. But when I called the number back, it is not in service.

If you get a call from this number. it seems that 3 is the opt out (if it works) and 1 is you get to talk to an operator.  If you decide to talk to an operator, tell them that you will find out where their office is and that you will go to their office and defecate on their desk.
