received a call from 1-855-962-323-9167 twice asking for information and asking for a different last name each time trying to summons someone he stated that his name was Bryan Maxwell he also gave me a different number that belongs to hp tech support 855-323-9167.

Got a voicemail from these bottom feeders on my cell, called them back more than once, the last message  to let Segal Bennett and Associates know, after I had seen the complaints about them on the Internet, that I was well aware of who I did and did not have debt with and that they would be sued if they harassed me so to remove my cell phone number. Interesting how they haven't called back. Many complaints about these vermin with slightly different 855#s on other sites, check it out. Trouble is that even a partially legit debt collector thinks its ok to use some strong arm tactics before they're sure they have the right person,which makes them not much better in my book, have experienced that one as well.

This company called me and left message that I was going to be arrestted for felony charges for not paying debt.  Also called my daughter and told her the same.  Can they this?

I received a voicemail message on my cell phone which caller id showed coming fro (504) 658-9113 which is a fax number for a local district court. When I listened to the message she identified herself as Martha from the New Orleans Parish. Sending a officer with a badge out within the next hour to either my office and if they arrive there I should have my supervisor available to sign off on the paper work and 2 valid proofs of id or be available at my home for the police officer to show up. Then she goes on to say you can call the attorney's at 1-855-862-9167 to discuss your account. Well of course there is no Martha there when you call and I spoke to someone who identified herself as Charlotte Jones and said she was looking to serve papers for a loan I did not take out and never have. Then when I told her serve all they want because I never took a loan from them and will not take responsibility for one she hung up. I called back and got a Jessica Ortiz who portrayed herself as the supervisor and I told her I googled this number and found out there were plenty of complaints against them for fraud and she hung up on me. Got all the phone numbers on my phone for future reference

I received a call from an unknown number today. I did not answer and Marie Chain said a process server for My County will to meet me at my place of residence or job tomorrow to serve me regarding case # that Bennett and Associates file against me unless I called 855-862-9167 to speak to the attorney's office to stop it. And to have two forms of ID's and a witness.

I reported them to FTC.

I called the same number and got the segal and bennet assoc out of NY. The process server was from a different county than what I live in. The information she had already was wrong to begin with.So I called the number and spoke with a lady was very nice. I tried to get as much information from her to see what the scam was. She was very cooperative once it sounded like I would pay some money but when I asked for documentation and told her I was talking to someone in the county sheriff's office she got mad and wished me good luck in court as fast as she could. Besides there are a couple of other things she was not aware of but I had my fun with her. Only thing I have to be annoyed about is them call my place of work.

I have  received two calls from this number. The woman calling stated she was calling from Broward County. She left the message that I needed to call  back on this number to arrange for delivery of papers
related to CN 562066. I don't know what this is about and  decided to look up the number and landed here.
Isn't  there some  regulatory agency this kind of fraudulent activity can be reported to? If someone knows please post info. Thanks.

Naw,  that isn't a job.   It's stealing and stealing is not a job....it's a way of life.   No excuses for that.....

I have recieved 2 similar calls from a Stacy Bush and she talks so quickly that hard to understand.  Message alluded to process server coming out to my buisness or home.  Ended with "You've been warned"

Guess everyone needs a job to do but this is ridiculous.

You just check with the Harris Co. Clerk of Court and let us know the docket and summons numbers. Post them here and be sure to thank the Harris Co. Sheriffs Dept. for conveniently letting you know when you'll be served! And be sure to thank these vermin for kindly offering to settle...over the phone...AFTER a court date's been set!

Had a phone call from someone named Marsha from Harris count no number blocked but left a message with same number I called that # have a court date in Houston will be served today by a sheriff 4/24/13 wanted me to pay 1300.00 over phone settle it out of court that really upset me I left it alone I will leave it in gods hands what is this world coming to excuse me not the world the people right!!!!!!

I got a call at work the message says I have 24 hours to comply, or i will be served by someone called a processor. Looked up the number finding all of these blogs; did anyone ever get served for real. I called this law firm this number and no one new what I was talking about.

I received a call from this same number 855-862-9167 saying that two charges were filed to the county but they don't say for what. She also said to have my attorney who will represent me in court call them. It sounds legit but wrong is a SCAM!!! They try to get people nervous so that they give them the credit card over tghe phone  and then they'll wipe your bank account.

Received a call at work from somebody identifying himself as a process server.Looked up the phone number on google and got this page.Relieved to see it's just some kind of scam.

I got a call from 703-820-7686 saying they had served papers at my residence the other day and no answer and for me to call 866-86-9167.  Said I have a court date and more charges could be brought upon me if I didn't call to arrange for another time to sign papers.

I get a call from these people every day, they has went has far as saying they was outside in the parking lot. My co-worker answered the phone when they called and they did not hesitate to leave a message with her. I got back from lunch and she said the guy was very threatening and she told them well if you are in the parking lot go ahead and enter the building, but then he said he was going to lunch and would return in an hour. The next day he called again and she answered the phone and he told her the same thing and she informed him she was the one to take the call on yesterday and if is outside he is more than welcome to come in, he got upset and asked to be transferred to the supervisor, so she transferred the call to DIAL TONE and he was not too happy. Scum bags!

I got a call stating from Dallas county to serve papers on me for a docket number, for me to call the client to reschedule or otherwise my witness need to be a supervisor  and 2 forms of I'd these people are harassing and annoying the hell out of me. stegal Bennett &associates told me the person was gone and they are in western New York

I got a similar call at work from Nancy Welch. She claimed to be from the County Processor's office and said I would be served tomorrow unless I called 855-862-9167 to speak to the attorney's office to stop it.  Nancy's call back number is 314-615-8739, which happens to be the FAX number to St. Louis County Circuit Court. I looked up the phone number to the Circuit Court's office, called it and asked for Nancy Welch and SURPRISE, SURPRISE..no Nancy works there. Can you say SCAM! DO NOT give these people any information! Nancy claimed to have no knowledge who was serving me, and asked if I owed anyone money.

8558629167 - someone named nancy contacted me as well...using my work phone number. Said a processor of the county was going to meet me at my place of work and require my supervisors signature as a witness...I've never heard of such a thing.

Someone named Nancy calls me and leaves me this number as her. Callback number. She says she is calling from the legal division of "the county" and that a process server is planning on serving me. She is very vague, and never mentions which county she's with and only says the process server (who has never showed up) will be "there " rather than a specific location. The case number she references does not match Illinois 's format for civil legal cases, and as far as I know the sheriffs office serves all subpoenas and we don't even have process servers. I believe she is associated with some debt collectors that have been calling me threatening fake legal action. When pressed for written documentation of the debt, they don't produce and use the excuse that I said I couldn't pay as reason not to mail me a bill. So they want money with no verification of what its for. Definitely a scam.

My story is very similar with the exact same number but the guy that left the message name was Richard Whitefield. Then when I called the number I was transferred to a Jason Baxter since he was handling my "case". His direct number is 7162475104. Now what's ironic is that Jason and Richard has the same voice!!! The message that was left said thr exact same thing as listed above.

I received a call from an unknown number twice. I did not answer and Mr. Johnathan McCoy, a process server for Maricopa County left a voice mail on which he said he wanted to meet me at my place of residence today to serve me regarding case # CJ 528343. He also said this was a courtesy call. He ended the call with "You have been notified!" I was very concerned so a looked up the number he provided for me to discuss with the claimant what I was signing off on. The voice mail said they could call to be reached at 855-862-9167 or 8559629167 . When I searched, I got this page. These scam artists are dropping to new lows!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the same phone call! Its amazing "Richard Whitefield" said he was from Clark County Svc Department. Guess company it's googling the name of the counties. Sickening and totally unprofessional. Summons..whatever!

Received a call from  855-862-9167 claiming I had a court summons on claim number CN 532993. I have no loans outstanding or any debts to warrant a court summons. My husband answered an unknown caller number on our phone. Do not know anything about the company calling but callers name was Mr. Johnson McCoy.
