Received call on cell phone offering a free wireless home security system

Got told I won a security system for my home I told him I don't have a home cuz I use a travel trailer and travel most of the time which is true and told him my company pays for my stuff including trailer this guy is persistent so he puts me on the phone with supervisor Jacob and told him I have a bad signal then I kept saying hello hello they hung up after that

I do not answer calls from numbers I do not know. Never leaves a message and if I call number from a land-line it is always busy.

Got a call from this number. When I answered no one on the phone. About two days later I got a call wanting to know if I had a security system. I told them I did, they wanted to know what I had. I commented that was no concern of theirs, and hung up.

Just called me.  Said something about home security.  I asked how he got my number and he started swearing and saying he wanted to f with me and did I want to f with him.  Told him he must lead a very boring life if he has time for this BS.  I hung up.  

I got this call.
I answered and told the mI needed soone to come on over and give me a quote.
I then gave them the address of the police department.

let's see if these f****ng idiots are stupid enough to "come on over".

Was driving and got a call from this number.  Didn't have my reading glasses on and thought it was a call from someone I knew. His heavy Spanish accent was hard to understand.  He asked a fire alarm question and I asked what the call was about.  He said it was a survey and not a sales call.  He then asked if I had a security system.  I answered before I realized that I was giving out info that I shouldn't and could be providing a burglar with info about my house. He already had my last name although he mispronounced it. I bought a house in recent months and I have gotten sales type calls for home services so they probably got my info from public record county property transfer info. If I get a break-in in the next few months, I will provide this number to the police.

Got a call from this number, but I do not answer calls from numbers I don't know. I was in my living room and noticed my fiancée received the same call just minutes earlier........... BS

This number called me  (469-300-2555) and as soon as I answered, they hung up.

I WILL SUE YOUR A** OFF

someone call me unknown I tried to call back but no answer and this is the second or third time this have happened and it is annoying.

Just got a call from this number - I answered because I have family in that area code. A man with a heavy middle eastern accent answered, I instantly asked to be removed from the list. He argued with me about how it was not a sale call, I repeated 3 times to take me off the list. I finally hung up. Calling the Better Business Bureau now.  

Got a call from these guys stating they would give me a free security system if they could put a sign in my yard. Told the the only security system I need is on top of my dresser and holds 10 rounds of ammo. Still insisted I needed this system. They have called over ten times and won't take me off the list.

I received the same call today, I don't know why, but I think is because I posted an ad in craigslist yesterday and  they took my phone number from there.

Calls at least once a day.  Never answer since I don't know anyone in the 469 area code. Called ID says "ameyo" which provides call center software.  Go figure...

Called me more than once so I checked this website to see who they were.  The next time they called, I pretended to be very interested in their product and scheduled for a salesperson to come to my home.  Of course, I gave them a fake  existent name and non-existent address.  Since we can't keep these people from calling us, we can turn the tables on them.  He also called me darling & sweetheart.

I used to receive the same type of call from a Florida number but I've blocked both of them. Thanks for the info.

I received the same call, recited fcc as well state codified ordinances to him. Claimed he was on jupiter and coming to earth. I called the company back, talked to a supervisor and he stated that someone is using some website so clone their number and make prank calls. Most likely kids and if it happens again to call back and they will try to investigate.

Got a missed call from this number today, thanks for the posts folks!  Now I know to not bother calling this number back.

They called me again tonight. I have had at least five calls regarding security systems. The call came back-to-back with another call trying to sell a security system.

I just received a call. When I told the guy my phone was registered with the Do Not Call List since years, told me" anyways, you won a free system for your home!"
I told him it was an illegal call, and to remove me from the list. If I receive another call, I will make a police report.

This is some kind of security company wanting to sell us fire alarms. They called three times within 30 minutes. I called the number and the only choice is to press star to have one of their people return your call. STUPID!

Got second call today after telling them not to call back and take me off their list. They're asking about home security systems. First caller hung up immediately when I asked them to. Second guy was extremely inappropriate - called me "sweetheart" in condescending tone and I told him not to call me that, then he called me "darling" and made kissing sounds and told me he loved me? I've done call center work and this makes me livid that someone could be so inappropriate while cold calling customers with no consequences....
