this message is for (my sons name) and there is a legal isuue and good luck as this problem unfolds on him ,especially if he does not call the person back. The voice is a Phillipino sounding man who threatens action of some sort.Looking up the # on the internet it comes from Dallas Texas. Our guess it that it has something to do with a previous bad credit issue that has been written off by one company and repurchased by another debt co. who wants to get $$ from him.The phone # 469-341-7742 is left on voicemail

I received numerous calls from this number on both my cell and work phones stating that I owed a company called cash net. They stated that I could pay the amount of $3-- something or pay $2000+ in legal fees. I would like to know if anyone knows the name. My guy keeps calling himself Dom.

I got about 20 calls at my cell, my work and home phone from some foreign guy with an generic american name claiming to be from the attorney general's office in Texas. When I asked them for ID verification they only get more insistant. actually threatened to send an "investigative team" to my work to collect money from a loan I never took. (with penalites added that doubled the amount of said loan I supposedly but never took. We even threatened to call police but they kept calling anyways. always insisted on me sending my personal info via fax. Fax number was bogus.  Bottom Line Never take or even open email about payday or cash loans. It opens up a can of worms that you'll have a hard time trying to close

Same BS about legal financial troubles, Indian accent, blah blah blah. I called and told them quit wasting your time trying to scam me its not going to work, get a life good bye and hung up.

THIS IS A TELECOM SCAM!  The company this number is registered to is Caprock Telecommunications Corp. in Dallas, TX.
CALL THE FTC!  If they get enough reports about this they will investigate & hopefully shut them down - but they need to see a pattern of fraudulent activity to open an investigation.

Male with a huge accent claiming that i owe money for a loan for the dept of Law firms. I have never taken out a loan and he just got angry. I told them that this was fraud and that they have got the wrong person or misinformation and he proceeded to tell me that they will come to my house and place of employment and embarrass me, they have my social security number and I will be sued. This has got to be a joke! He couldn't even tell me the company I supposedly owed money to and screamed vulgar and profane things to me. I told them I would report the company and I hung up......they keep calling over and over...this is harassment!

the people call and leave a voicemail on my phone.  I could bearly make out the phone number.   So when I called back the man was talking about a loan and that is was not paid off.  He was very hard to understand.  He said it was a criminal investigation.  And that if I  do not pay him I will loose my job.  I asked to speek with someone that speaked clear enhlish and he got all mad and threatened me that i was not a american and that i would be getting a call and i will go to jail.  I told him he needed to get his facts straight because i am AMERICAN born and raised.  Dont fall to these scamers.  GOD BLESS.

Received 2 messages from this number.  The heavy accent and amazing mumbling rendered the message nearly unintelligible except for "it is very important that you (my daughter) call us back at this phone number of I can not help you with what is about to unfold".  Does that sound creepy to you?  It did to me!  Hey Mr. Perv, call my daughter again and I won't protect YOU from what is about to unfold.

I work with jsutice department and this person called me once i told him who i was he asked me to stop calling me and he would send the infooration to myh job crazy

I have received a call from a man with some sort of foreign accent who says he's calling regarding a federal investigation. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!

Big time scam...called me for weeks on end...same script everytime.  I can actual repeat the messages verbatim without even listening to them, regardless of whether its "John Smith" or "Denzel Washington" or even "Jimmy Carter" thats calling me today the message is always the same  (LOL the names they use know no bounds, I just keep waiting for "Investigator Kurt Cobain" to ring me from the dead)...always calling from "Internet Crime Division" or my personal favorite, and Im going to write this as it was pronounced (so say it slowly to get the effect), "Deeepaaarrtttmenntt of Law Fuuurrmm"...LOL...Hey how about a joke at these numb-nuts expense...

I don not know who theses people are.  They claim to be a law firm of som kind.  The people speak with a accent, maybe indian.  They do give any real information just threats.
