I got a call and given this number to return the call...Nikki Barns and she claimed we are being overcharged for our credit card processing. I told her I didn't have time now to pull the statements and look. She gave me the # and a fax # to send statement so she could review. She said she gets a list and it reflagged our business as being overcharged by our processors, but she couldn't tell me who our processing company was....hummmm

My 12 year old just got a call from this number. Though he knows better than to answer numbers that he doesnt know.

I rec'd a call from this number and I could barely understand or even hear the young lady. She claimed to be from a staffing company but could not tell me which one she was with. SHOCKING right? I told her, 'I don't deal with staffing agencies and not to call me back'! Hopefully I won't hear from this number again.

" My name is Janice Cox you have a case that was found in my office today.. your case is a "deliberate attempt to defraud a financial intuition"  call  214.380.3052  ext 1039 you have 24 hours  before you are notified at your home or place of business..."


That was the message left for me & there is no such case. "Found in my office today" plllllleeeeezzz get a real job Janice!

Woman with a heavy accent called asking for my ex-husband. I told her he couldn't be reached at my number and she promptly hung up on me.

Received call on my cell from man with a heavy mid-eastern accent. Identified himself as Alex. Tried to promote sale of "any kind of drug" I wanted. He said he was responding to my request for mail order medicines and that he could furnish "anything"!  I asked him to remove number from his list. He hung up.

Called my cell which is unpublished.  Hung up when answered.

I just received a call from this number on my mobile phone.  I did not answer as I did not recognize the number and customarily look a number up that's not familiar to me. The caller proceeded to call back 3 times in a row, however, did not leave a message.  I'd like to thank everyone for posting information as it is very helpful!

A woman called from this number. Once I told I was the person she asked for a guy got on the phone claiming to be a lawyer.  Told me I owed HFC $1500.00 and they have a judgment against me.  I told him I haven't worked in two years and I am not paying any bills.  Next, he told me he had my credit report and it says otherwise???  

He started into a rant about me applying for help or something.  And, something about minorities.  I told him if I was a minority, I would be better off.   He told me he is a minority.

I told him too bad and hung up on him.

This person called my house 5 times this afternoon within a few minutes.   I have got calls from probably 10 of them....hey, they all sound like the same person.....heavy accent.   American names....He/they have all my personal information.    My advise is, if you see a strange number on your ID box don't answer it.  They have even hacked in to a number that shows up from a town 17 miles down the road from where I live.   The calls show up as coming from Utah, Calif, Indiana, Nevada, Texas.    He/they say basically the same thing....Pay Day Loan that has not been paid back.   I will be picked up by police.    Some time he/they say they are police officers, lawyers......at the end of the call they will tell you they will settle it all with the company they represent if you will wire them some money immediately.    I have talked to the FTC, the Attorney Generals Office in South Carolina and my telephone company.    It is happening all over the country.    When I called the FTC and the Attorney General's office the folks were very familiar with the whole story....they have heard it so many times.    From now on if I see a number I do not recognize, I will not answer the phone.

a heavy accented man called claiming to be an officier. He did not have my correct name, or company name. making threats. These guys need to be shut down. Tried to call back and they did not take the call

My son answered the phone and the guy (very poor English), asked for me, and my son said that I wasn't here.  He told my son to make sure I call him back, and my son didn't get the phone number right and the guy got IRATE and ( I can't believe this), the guy told MY SON that he was going to come and RAPE me and F___ me.  YES, TO MY SON!  
Of course my son got upset, and they guy called me son a black N_ _ _ R.  WHOA.  For one thing we are white.. and for ANYONE to say something like that no matter what race is incredibly upsetting and devastating.

Who are these people?  I work, pay my bills, and basically lead a quiet life.  We have no idea why he called in the first place.  I guess he didn't tell my son why.

Just got the call at my work from a david parker with the samething from david harrison in cali but the 469 number is dallas texas, finally got ahold of the guy who i was talking to and for some reason no more accent and now his name is steve and no more call center background everyone keep calling him back when he said hello sounded just like him

Yeah got one today said his name was Dan Clark and the same statement when I told him he was a scam he told me to go to hell.  Guess what your the one who is going to hell Dan Clark or what every your real name is you are scamming people do not fall for any of this just hang up the phone and by the way tell them to go to hell for me

I also got the same phone call from 469- 453-8208, his name Attorney Daniel Clark ( with middle eastern accent) supposely that i have three counts against me. I already got scam with money with this before. He also says that he will show up at my work location too. They also used other numbers like786-275-5079, and also another number that was located in Florida. All three times they have used the same tatics as everyone else before me. Be careful not to fall for it like me! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   ITS A SCAM    !!!!!!!!!

I got the same call and they called a close friend of mine too. Indian accent with an american name. Really?? Saying the authorities were looking for me. I told him to go get a life and that he was full of crap. he said darling , honey, dont get upset. told him i wasnt his darling or honey and to never call me again.  of course, they still call but i wont answer the calls. it is a total scam!!!!  my question to him should have been, if you can find me why is it that the authorities cannot?  i am not hiding, i have a lease in my name, utilities, and a job. it is such bs!!

I just got a call from Tony Daniel Clark with accent, he is from the law office say somthing about I have been frauding other and bring me into a court. I need to call him back if before he turn me to distict judge. The phone was very static. I turly believe this is s scam

I GOT A PHONE CALL FROM THEM ALSO, THEY EVEN CALLED MY BEST FRIEND. WHEN WE STARTED TO QUESTION THEM THEY GOT VERY DIRTY AND DISGUSTING.I REPORTED TO THE POLICE AND TO THE STATES ATTORNEY OFFICE IN TEXAS.THIS HAPPENED TO ME ABOUT A MONTH AGO ALSO, USING A DIFFERNET NUMBER BUT SAYING TH SAME THING.I DO HAVE A PAYDAY LOAN WITH A COMPANY IN TOWN, BUT I THINK SOMEBODY MUST HAVE SOLD MY PERSONAL INFORMATION.

I also received a call from this number stating that I owed them money from December 2010, but I do not.  When I asked if they could fax me information detailing this information, they said that they could not until I paud them $523.00!  I said let call my attorney, but then the gentleman stated that I could go to jail for 2 years and a $10,000 fine if I did not talk to them right now. I hung up and contacted my attorney, who told me not to speak with them.

FYI the call coming from this number are also associated to a Boston Number begining with 508 area code. The original caller is from India and claim there has been a fraud of some sort related to a Pay Day loan scam. After many arguments I was able to get a copy of some documentation related to the accusation. The company name being used in my case was US Cash Advance. The letter uses two different company names.

I received a call today from 469-453-8208 stating that the other company filed a law suit against me. After some funny conversation they turned me to Kevin (all asian accents not middle eastern) the aka lawyer stated the other company filed a suit.

I explained they had been reported to the police Internet crimes unit etc and they hung up.

Being the rebel and wanting so despirite to help gather info I called them back and point blank asked for their address. The asian gentleman asked me to suck his ______ to say it and he would give me an address.

Please people this is an Internet scam. They buy information from companies to make these calls. The internet is not a safe place anyone can buy even personal information about you including your social security numbers.

Make sure you follow the golden rule: Never give out credit or debit card numbers, make a report to the local police, file an Identity fraud alert on the three major credit reporting agencies and let your bank know as well.

Please be safe according to the police department the scam is running rampid and increasing in incidence.

I received a call to both my phone and my work.  The message was from some very heavy accented middle eastern man claiming his name is Alex.  He told me the same old story and I needed to call back.  When I tried to call back the voice mail was full.  I know this is a scam, and I have reported it to my phone company.

If you care to know what the cases are, call us back at this number. If you don't call back, we'll proceed to press charges against you"...blah, blah, blah!!! I can't state how many times in the last 7 months I've received such a call. I'm so used to their same old tricks! I'm on the "DO NOT CALL LIST" and I'v reported this number.
If this call was from California why did my phone ID say Texas.

I received the same message on monday and have been getting them for a while and was told the same thing as your husband.... It scared it me a first, I am happy that now I know its a scam

They called for my husband and left a message.  I called them back and this guy said let me tell you what's going on and I said let me tell you my attorney's name & # and he said my attorney could suck his d*** and kiss his a**.  I called my attorney and he said that this is a scam and that we should not talk with them.  He said any legitimate creditor would not talk like this and would take your attorney's information.

So I called this "Lisa Smith" 'back and tried to give them my attorney's # and this guy said....Let me tell you what's going on and I said let me tell you my attorney's name & # and the guy said "Your attorney can suck my d*** and kiss my a**"  I repeated that I needed to give them my attorney's name and # and he said it again.  I then said, fine I will have my attorney call you and he said it again.  I called my attorney and he busted out laughing.  He said that #1 he's not into that type of stuff, #2 it is a scam, #3 there is no debtors jail in America and #4 no legitimate bill collector will ever talk to you like that.  He said to ignore their calls and they will stop.

It was pretty funny to hear him say he didn't care whay my attorney's name & # was and that my attorney could suck his d*** and kiss his a**!!!!

My husband just received a call from a Lisa Smith (I don't think so!!!)  saying if he didn't return the call that the authorities will be at our house or his place of work tomorrow morning and arrest him.  I tried to call the number back and give them our attorney's name and it put me through to a voice mail that can't accept messages.
