i dont understand why they do not ever answer the phone when you call back its like they do not want to let you pay your bill..

No they are a scam get my bank m they have stole my credit card info and are trying to get my bank info beware of these people they are awful....they claim to be bank of america

This number has called me 11 times in just the past two days, and several times before that, at all hours. They never leave a message and when I do answer they claim to be from Bank of America. I refused to give the caller (who I could hardly understand) and info and then called my bank and they said they had not been responsible for trying to contact me. I say don't answer and block these calls!

BLOCKED CALLER ID.  I actually had to ask the caller to provide the number that they are calling from.  This is `FIE Card Services` / BANK OF AMERICA debt collectors on a `fishing expedition`, calling my registered (DO NOT CALL LIST) number repeatedly for several years looking for a `J. Smith`..... so, they call for dozens of DIFFERENT people whose name starts wtih a `J`.    They refuse to reveal any information about themselves, such as location, contact information, supervisors, etc.

left a message that was hard to understand..something about a business, but I couldn't understand her. It didn't show up as missed call, so I'm not sure of the number they were calling from. Just have the number she left for me to call back. I didn't call back

I got several calls from this number the persons name was Russell, they wanted to discuss some financial matters, that's what they said

This is definitely Bank of America. I missed ONE payment with them and they call me 20 times a day (no exaggeration). I picked up one time and they want to know when they can expect payment, I told them when my next payment is due, I will pay my balance. The woman noted it in my account, but they are STILL CALLING ME. Very annoying.

I can verify this is FIA Card Services. I do owe Bank of America money on a credit card, so this is definitely not a scam or something.

my parents got a phone call from them asking for me which I haven't lived there in 5 years.  Wanted my info but my parents wouldn't give them it.  Then asked my mom who he was and what her name was.  very wierd!!

Called stating that they were from FIA card services - they wouldn't answer any of my questions regarding what the call was about - I gave my birthday, then caught myself and told them I couldn't help them, and if they needed to reach me to send me a letter...  I spoke to "Beth"...  Weird.

These people call at ALL times of day AND night, up to 10pm, averaging 10 calls each day!! They rarely ANSWER my greeting, and NEVER,NEVER, NEVER leave a message! If its that important, why won;t they identify themselves? Thay even sent a text message with the phone number, but no MESSAGE!  What a waste of my time and energy!

Received 15 "unknown #" calls from this place. Finally on the 16th call they left a message. The lady had such broken english I could hardly make out what she said. The number she said to call back was 888/ 881-4982.

Just got the same call, was Victoria asking for my husband, said was calling from FIA about my husband's Bank of America credit card, he doesn't have one and wanted me to give her his info like, date of birth, etc. I didn't give any and hung up, sound suspicious.

After about 4 days of "out of area" calls (6-8 per day), "Allison" left a message 12/9/09 saying that this was an urgent call that I must return and left the phone number 888-881-4982.  I don't owe any money so don't know why they're calling.

The phone number 888-881-4982 actuallly belongs to FIA Card Services, they are collectors for BOA (and many others).

Caller said his name was Adam and he was with Financial Institution.  Sounds like they are a collection agency.

i got the same call.
it was ian that i spoke to.
he wouldn't tell me where he was from.
i hung up on him.

said it was business
