That is EXACTLY what just happened to us. He is pretending to be a lawyer or something. Total fraud. We have filed bankruptcy and out lawyer says we have a valid claim now to counter sue. They are not allowed to harass. Also when u call " the guy Mr" so and so back it's a recording for someone else. Don't answer!!!

I received a call from this number and spoke to a Mr. Ward.  When he called he stated that he was calling about a judgement against me.  He was asking someone in the background for my case file and placed me on hold for longer than I was going to stay on the line.  I called back and he tried to get me to confirm my name and social so he could access my file and I stated that I will not confirm personal information over the phone.  He then said that since I won't confirm the info that he will let the process run its course and then hung up.

I got a few threatening phone calls from this number. They are a shark tank 3rd party debt collector. I got the first call from a Mr. Ward...and he was trying to collect on an old past expired debt. I asked him if he was familiar with the Statue of Limitations act? He proceeded with this call is monitored and recorded crap. So he hung up...I calked back spoke to a Derek his boss who said he listened to the tape and said they did nothing wrong. I told him you messed up big time and was reporting him to the FCC and $10,000 fines for breach of privacy on a private line and harassment. I must of called them 125 times that day just to f*** with them even told the operator to find a better job. She agreed and I think quit! Hilarious ...they cannot do anything to you and they know it ..,they even told me they called the police...I said which one yours in Texas or here in a florida ! Bunch of a***oles making money on. Old expired debts ...crooks! Have some fun with them ...I drove them crazy!

When that number called me, he was very nasty, wouldn't tell me his name or address, and when I asked for that info he actually had the balls to tell me to shut-up and listen to him, at which point I hung-up on him!!! I was NOT going to go back and forth with him! He said the delinqent descrepency was from 1999, 13yrs. ago!!!!!  Thanks again!!

Got a call from this number again.....for my father, who is now deceased.  Said that someone had put our number down as a reference, left a number on the answering machine which I called back.   I informed Rick Woods, that my father had died a month ago and that under no circumstances to approve anything that had our number on it.  He said that I should calm down, and then hung up on me.  I called the 469 number back, pressed 0 and spoke with an operator, and told her what happened, and asked to speak with a supervisor.  Supposedly the supervisor took our number off the account, as suspected it was on another person's account that they were trying to get money back from.  We'll see what happens.  I told them I would go to the FCC or the BBB, tired of these people calling me when I had nothing whatsoever to do with this mess.

I heart this site....got a call and a voicemail from the famous Mr. John Gray. :)

Love the country Dr. Phil accent and I must say he really sounds like a ex DPS kind of guy.  Guess he thinks his tone is intimidating but it actually made me laugh.  Its cute how he THINKS using words like "attorney", "consider yourself officially notified", "case number" and 'by 10 am" would make me give a caca but it doesn't since any and all my debt is at least 8 years old. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I added his number to the "do not answer" contact I added on my cell and now it will go straight to voicemail.  He can leave a message all he wants.  I have slowly rebuilt my credit over those 8 yrs and now have a new home and car which are my only debts now and both are current.  :)  Everything else is bought in cash.

He should really work for the fraud investigation department for food stamps or welfare or housing.  His attempts would probably be more successful.

2 calls / 2 messages stating they need to talk to me about a case involving fraud and deception. No answer when I tried to return call.?

Rick Woods has been harassing people that I know, trying to get to me. When I tried to call back on December 1st 2012 I also got a recording and I left a message and how they could get a hold of me, not  to call my ex husbands ex wife! or my fabulous landlord who I haven't rented from in 6 years. I never received a phone call back. Then yesterday he called, I was in the middle of trying to get my kids off to their program, trying to unfreeze a lock on our driveway gate, and I told him I would call him back in the afternoon. I asked him also where this bill came from, he couldn't pin point that. He said he would send me an email. I wasn't able to get back to him yesterday, so then I receive an email from my old landlord that he has called there again today. Then within 15 minutes I see he is calling. I answer, I ask him why he is harassing people, he then starts calling me a liar, and berates me for who knows how long. Went as far as to say he was getting off on berating me at which point I hung up. I have no problem clearing up old debts, life has been tough for a lot of us, but to be badgered and insulted?

I also got a call from this crazy Man John Gray he is so mean rude he keeps calling me Won't leave me alone Weirdo Crazy Man very Scary!!!!!!!!

This a debt collector.  Obviously bottom feeders in the junk debt pool.  The person that called me left a message identifying himself as "Rick Woods with CRS" some BS about being in the "legal dept." re: signing off on an affidavit against me today and that it would be in my best interest to return his call.  I don't feel that I need to justify myself to anyone, however, I provide the following information for the purpose of enlightenment to anyone getting calls from high pressure debt collectors.  The debt he called about could have been mine, however, it would have to be out of statute and no longer on what is now a pristine credit report.  To pay any debt charged-off previously would serve no purpose at all except to pay a commission to some underserving slug who does not deserve it.  My advice: ignore calls such as these.  Don't EVER try to resolve the matter by phone with one of these people as it would be futile and aggravating, and most certainly upset you.  Invest in Caller I.D./Call Block capabilities and move on with your day.

Received a call and called back. A recording came on so I called back and got a real person. They're looking for someone else so I asked him to no longer call this number and he said he would keep calling it. Extremely rude and uneducated fellow!
