We've received emails and calls from Stephanie Baxter from NRS (Nationwide Recovery Systems Ltd), she was rude an arrogant. Apparently representing Regus Serviced Offices.

She said she would be taking action against us, when i asked for the solicitors details she said "good day" and hung up.

I do not answer these calls because it is not a number I recognize. I have had 47 calls from this number since Aug of 2007. It irratates the crap out of me because I have a prepay and my company charges me for it even if I don't answer!!!

These fools call my home at least once a day. They are rude, dissmisive and arrogant. We have receive multiple names from multiple people, all of which find it necessary to think they can bully us. I have discovered that they are collecting for Cingular -- which took place duing the transition fron Cingular to ATT. Now they are harassing America with their ignorance. We don't owe them anything, but still they call. Don't give them any info, because they are merely phishing -- deceptively preying on women and the elderly.

I am currently seeking info from the Attorney General of California on how to begin a class action suit against them. Their harrassment is wide-spread enough to engage an actionalbe litigation. At least we will be able to give them someting to think about before calling.

Until then, I use three tactics to discourage them from calling here: I put them on "forever hold" which never ends; I ask they wait for a message and then, just at the right moment in a looooong pause, hang-up + I feign as though I am hard of hearing and ask them to speak louder and louder ... until they hang-up from frustration -- that one makes me feel so much better, because I get a great laugh from it. LOL

When they call they tell us we owe 42.65 and that amount has not changed in 4 months.(if it was a bill it would be increasing because of interest.) We won't pay something that we have never received a bill for. They always call on our cell phone not our home phone. They ask for you to give them a check by phone or a credit card. It seems that they are attempting to get your financial information......Do not give them anything, It does seem like a scam
When we have decided to answer to try to talk to someone we go through the steps and it finally tells you that if you want to speak to someone press "0". When we press 0 it tells you no one is available and they will call you back at another time. They call several times a day everyday!!!!!!!

These freaking people have been harrassing me for about two weeks now. They say I owe Cingular $1,642 and they want me to take out loans to pay them back first off I dont owe Cingular that damn much and second of all hell no i aint taking a loan out for them. But I will be looking into sueing them for harrassment.

My dad gets calls daily from someone named Diane since last year. She pushes for information about me. He never gives her any info, so she continues to call and harass him everyday looking for me, asking when he will see me, so on and so on. He gets pissed and chews her out randomly.
She always calls back.
I called her for the first time a few weeks ago to see exactly what she is saying that I owe for. She says I owe cingular $1,300 for an outstanding bill!! She expected me to pay the full amount right then over the phone. Then she told me that i need to talk with my family memebers for a loan??? Finally she said that she can waive $300. Yeah right.
I told her I would call her back the next day after I spoke with my husband. I never called her back becasue this is nonsense. I never received anything by mail stating that I owe this amount.
I never gave her my new number (the one I called her from) but she calls me now everyday on that line. She never leaves a message but she calls twice a day.

Caller asked to speak with owner/president of company by name, I asked who's calling and he said Allen with Copelands. I said one moment please and sent him to voicemail, he didn't leave a message. I'm assuming they are an investment banker scam, like all the others wanting something for nothing.

I recieved a call from this number. They said that they were looking for my son. When I told them that he did not live here they hung up on me. I get a call from this number several times a day most of the time I do not answer. If I don't answer they don't leave a message.

Someone called from this number asking for our company CEO who is not in.  They then asked for our CFO.  When I asked what the call was regarding the caller hung up.

And WHY would a REPUTABLE collection agency be calling from a CELL phone! This guy misrepresented himself to us as an ATTORNEY!!

This guy misrepresented himself to us as an ATTORNEY! Saying he was filing a lawsuit in an hour and trying to get our bank account information over the phone. He was unprofessional, insulting and COMPLETELY a JERK(and that's being extremely nice!)  He keeps telling us he has a lawsuit on his desk and we have one hour to call him or he's filing it and all this CRAP! I'm going to investigate him further and find out where I can report him for impersonating an attorney! I have him on VM saying he's an attorney! Anyone have any ideas??

Called from a blocked number.  Claims that I in the list of winning 20,000.  Asked me what credit card I liked and if I wanted to subscribe to some magazine.

I asked what company they were from, and they said, NRA or NRS...

Harrassing calls from this number. First call there was no one on the line and the second call he was just plain rude. I have an attorney and filed a BK so they are suppose to stop.

These people called me 3 times today...it sounded like the same girl each time. I have the flu and told them that twice...I didn't answer the other call. But the 3rd call I answered thinking I would be able to end it, after she finished her paragraph talking about NRS and asking what kind of credit card I had, I said, "Look, I have the flu and I don't want to talk about this right now. Why don't you just put me on the Do Not Call list because you people have called me 3 times today." Then she said, "Right..you don't have the flu." And hung up. Next time they call I'm going to tell the bi*** to get a real job and stop scamming innocent people. F****ng c***. I used to work as a telemarketer and if I was rude and hung up on the person I would get fired. This is definitely a scam.

Someone identifying himself as "Jake" called, gave a callback number as 469-521-0365, and asked for a callback. When I did so, he claimed to be representing Fidelity Communications. He further claimed he was trying to settle an outstanding debt of $212.74.

Fidelity does exist. In fact, there are two: One's a cable/Internet company in Missouri, the other's a nationwide business telephone system vendor. However, I've never done business with either of them. In fact, I never heard of them before "Jake" mentioned them.

When so informed, "Jake" simply apologized and hung up.

I will be notifying my local police department of this attempted scam. Others who receive these calls should do the same thing, as there may be a larger investigation going on.

Jake called (direct number 469-521-0365) looking for a company that no longer has the phone number. I called them back to say that. This morning, Jake Called the number I called from at 7:30 am. The number he is calling from is the same time zone.

It took just under 3 minutes for him to finally get it through his head that that neither number was correct for the person he was trying to reach.

I called him back, and he set the phone down when I talked. He also stated that the debt was a commercial debt and consumer harassment laws didn't apply.    --- except hmmmm. he was not calling during normal business hours, I am not the company that has said commercial debt, and all he needs todo is lookup the number.  -- I guess if they don't apply he better make damn sure he's calling the company in question.

Got a voicemail message saying his name is Chris and I owe them $3800 and they are filing suit if they do not hear back by Monday 10:30am. I have no idea who these guys are. I also got a call from 469-521-0501 but left no message but I think it came from the same place. I see complaints on 469-521-0389 and I believe they are the same people. Another Scam. I wish I can report them to somebody

Caller named Eric Blake EXT # 2411 keeps calling trying to collect a debt for Capital One.  Attempted to tell him that I'm going through a Debt Settlement program and to contact my attorney.

Wouldn't shut up.. On 09/22/08, called my wife at work.  According to my wife, he was rude and arugumentive.

He has been calling my work, home, and parent's home.

Next step... Contact the Federal Trade Commission and per Fair Collections Act, sue that little b*****d.

My daughter has been getting calls from these NRS people.  They leave messages on the vm all the time - rude is the only way to describe them.  I answered the phone this evening and a Ms Moore was rude when I said my daughter wasn't here.  Told me I needed to write her phone# down w/ext - and I had to give it to her as soon as possible.  When I asked her what it was in reference too she was rude said it wasn't any of my business.  When I asked her what company it was with she said "you assume it is with a company, just give her my ph#!" I said probably not because it is a telemarketer call and hung up. PH# she gave 800-387-4533 ext 2420 - tried calling the number back and all it said was admistration.  So then I started searching on the web.  Thanks for the alert!

Amazing..got a call from rude James and experienced the exact same thing as everyone else. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to get this guy back. :) Can't wait to call him!

Extremely rude man, asked for the owner of our company by name, told him he was not in, asked to be transfered to the cfo immediately about an urgent unpaid bill for services rendered. I asked "services from who" his reply was "from you bi***, pay me" and he hung up.

Got a call at work asking for the owner of the company ... you can always tell these "sales/solicitation" calls so it is my job to screen them for the owner. (Furthermore, he wasn't even physically here.) I asked who was calling, the guy gives me some first name (which I have forgotten), then I ask where he is calling from and what his call is regarding.  Now the rudeness begins, just put Chris on the phone!  I said I would love to transfer him but first I need a little more information.  He then says "Are you stupid or something, I told you to put Chris on the phone."  I then continue to ask for his company's information which refuses to give and now says "Look, do you not understand what I told you to do? Put Chris on the phone!"  I said, "Look buddy, I don't work for YOU I work for CHRIS and unless or until you give ME the information I reequest you aren't getting thru.  I am the gatekeeper and no one gets to Chris except thru me!"  He said "BullSh*t!" and hung up.  Why I ever stayed on the phone so long with him, I'll never know.  Now, if they call back again, I think I am going to think of clever ways to amuse myself by messing with them.  This could be fun!

Just got a call today claiming I owed $200 to TXU from 2002 and needed to pay it over the phone to not have my credit negatively impacted.  I never was a TXU customer and have not received any written correspondance about owing any debt.  I asked for a written copy of the debt and they refused.

caller left NO NAME but knew mine immediately. She went on in a very insulting way of trying to insinuate that I was lying to her about everything I was saying. As soon as I asked for a supervisor name, she said "if thats how you're gonna play the game, fine I'll just advise my company to go forward with their claim" then she hung up...

5/6/08 I received a call from a lady posing as AT&T and Verizon telling me my husband owed money and that I could pay by check.  When I asked how I could verify that this call was valid she put me on hold and then after a minute of silence I hung up

I called the number back a few times and just got busy signals

This lady knew his full name and birthday but did not leave her name

call me on 5/5/08 asking for my mom when i told them she was not here and asked for a return # they said they can,t give out their # but can i give them another where she could be reached at because they could tell me what they wanted or what company they work fore because it was personal i told them no and hang up the phone

then gave them the air horn as loud as possible
until they hung up.
