I got a call from this guy "criminal investigator attorney at law Chris Walker", well actually my 14 year old brother did for writing bad checks. so apparently he's a criminal investigator and an attorney. when I called the police and had them talk to him he wouldn't even give an address! and his number has changed he called me from 612-205-0812

I received a call from a special investigator Christopher Morris.. he explained to me that I owed over 6,000 In bad checks that I Allegedly sent across state lines. And  that I will be arrested at my job and unless I paid him $1209.  I'm actually right in the middle of this now he just called my phone yesterday and reading this information just informed me that this is a scam ..I will be contacting my local police department.

I was supposed to be picked up last week at my place of employment... even brought my toothbrush that day. Guess what... THEYNEVER SHOWED!!!

He's full of it - scammers call people all the time threatening them with prosecution and jail time - which is also in violation of the FDCPA.  If you really do owe a debt, then demand that they MAIL you a debt validation letter and also a copy of the contract you signed with the original creditor showing your signature.  If they can't or won't produce this documentation (which is legally required), they are most definitely scammers!

I got multiple calls from this number. He disguised himself as Mark Malone, working for the local Sheriff Department at first and stated I had commited multiple counts of wire fraud. When I called back, he stated his name was Christopher Morris and was a criminal investigator. MARK MALONE AND CHRISTOPHER MORRIS ARE THE SAME PERSON!!  I agreed to set up payment to avoid having a warrant issued. That evening, I called the local Sheriff Department and confirmed they knew nothing of this. He threatened me to no longer have the Sheriff Department contact him, or he'd just press charges.  After discussing with my attorney, we stopped payment.

Just got a call from Christopher Walker 469-563-4620 on my cell phone.  I didn't answer the call.  Voicemail said same thing as above - bank/wire fraud about writing bad checks across state lines.  He had my full name and age but was calling about someone with the same last name.  I figured it had to be a scam but glad to see other posts on this website.

I got a call from this # this weekend. Originally it showed up on my caller id at the local courthouse #, but they are not open at 8pm on Saturday nights. I was left a similar message with threats of warrants and incarceration unless I contact him back, he left the # of 1-866-529-4465. When I did talk to him we were disconnected and he called me back on the 469#. He told me I could pay almost $1000to him so drop the case and it would be an out of court settlement. I figured it to be a scam, he kept calling me all weekend and when Monday rolled around I contacted the company he said he was representing, the local sheriffs department, the local court and the attorney generals office, all of whom said it was definitely a scam and that I was in no danger of being arrested or jailed.
He called me back after the phone calls I made and when I told him I knew he was a scammer he began yelling at me that if he was a scammer than he wouldn't have all my information. I hung up on him and haven't heard from him since.

This is such a scam and a freakin joke. GET A LIFE WHOEVER YOU ARE! Your muffled voice speaks of wire fraud.....i think......ummm and what are you doing? Jeezus, get a real job and earn an honest dollar.

This "so called" personal investigator Christopher Walker called my home at 6:22pm on 3-1-13 claiming that me and one of my uncles are under investigation for back fraud and said that i need to tell my uncle to call him by a certain time or else there will be a bench warrant for his arrest and mine and that there was a court date for March 7th. This man did not leave a call back number and all the numbers in my phone that day did not consist of this number. I had to get this number from my aunt because he called her also harrassing her about this. Also he did not leave a time to appear in court!! WHO DOES THAT!!!....so why in the world was a bench warrant sent out or why did the police not come lock me up already...i live right around the corner HELLO!!!! so anyways i guess this is a scam. Im glad to see that im not the only one that heard from this crazy fool!

I received 3 calls/2 msgs. February 23-2013 from Criminal Investigator/Attorney Christopher Walker. Didnt answer his calls but he left two voicemail msgs. I'm calling regarding your debt of $2500 I need to hear from you today, before 3oclock Eastern. You will be subpoena within 48 hours and will have to come to court. You will be jailed in the County or Federal Prison until you appear in court March 7-2013.A disposition warrant will be issued. So with that said with all the personal threats on my voicemail...I called them 3xs back2back ...NO ANSWER!!! I know its a scam....but I wanted to use scared tactics on this scumbag.  Well heads up he goes by the name of Christopher Walker Criminal Investigator/Attorney No. 469-563-4620
