This  fraud/scammer/forger will solicit your deal on Craigslist and other sights and promise a check and send a"delivery" person to pick up the item and you pay that person out of the overage "paid" in the check.  Their scam is the check is bogus and upon receipt of the check start trying to schedule pick up.  The person  scamming is the same person picking up the item.  When your bank then declines the funds you are out the item you were selling plus the cash you pay to the "mover".  I give people like this the address to the local police and FBI.

Got text saying wants to buy my generator will send check with an excess amount which I should give to the driver who will pick it up ....YEA ...I replyed no I want cash if they come ...lol of course I got no response
