CALLS ALL DAY EVERYDAY!! NEVER SAYS ANYTHING WHEN I ANSWER..VERY ANNOYING..

Called, but I didn't answer.  Left no message.  Have received several calls from UNAS on different numbers - all from the Dallas area.

Really? I mean come on!! They don't have anybody else to called? Maybe in the Dallas, Tx Area? Please!!!

Called every day for about a week . I finally answered and They asked for resident who was not home at the time. When I asked if they wanted to leave a messege they said no and promptly hung up.

Received a call tonight at 8:43.  Caller ID showed TX FOP.  I interpret this as Texas Fraternal Order of Police.  I do not respond to phone solicitations and did not answer.  I also do not think 469 area code is Texas.

Not certain it was this specific 469 no. but ID says UNAS.
For past 2-3 weeks calls at all hours of day and evening with shift worker, students, and others trying to rest.  3/3/09 called at 2:47PM and 2:48PM, left voicemail [foreign man] saying he needed to speak to me--by name, probably taken off outgoing recording.  There were many computer tones in the background and someone was talking to him but no one was home to be speaking to him!!  Most of the time no one responds when I answer.  Some incoming calls claim to be a survey (may be some other group).

Received another call from this number today and happened to be near the phone to answer on 2nd ring.  I spoke with a nice woman who identified herself from the Breast Cancer Fund collecting for people who cannot afford mammograms.
I asked to be removed from her phone list.  She said she would.  Hopefully this will happen as they have called daily & hung up before I could answer.

Congress has created (Largely for ITSELF!) a loophole so that some folks don't have to honor the do not call list.

If enough of us write letters to our elected representatives, they might decide to reconsider their selfish invasion of our privacy.

Depending upon the kind of call it is, you can collect $500 starting with the first one. Unfortunately, no matter how illegal a call is, under the TSR you can't collect a penny unless you can prove $50,000 in damages. Your state may have other laws which apply.

How to collect? SIMPLY FILE SUIT.

Some people send demand letters. Some even collect, based on those alone. I don't find much success with them. In one letter, I offered to settle for $1,000. After I sued, they offered to settle for $875. I collected $10,000. For one call.

For me, it's simpler to go straight to court.  I've done it dozens of times, and you should do it, too.

why have your number on the NO CALL list if these "people" (being polite here) ignore that.

I received a call from this number, which was on my caller ID.   I just picked up the receiver and hung up.   I get so many calls like this, I just hang up and never answer them.   I do not know the name UNAS, does anyone?
The Area Code 469 is a Dallas, TX area code, so it must be somewhere in that neighborhood where they are located.

This number and the name was on my caller ID, I just picked up the receiver and hung up.   I get so many calls from unknown numbers and names, that I just don't answer them any more.  I have tried telling the one that I answer to stop calling, but that just does not seem to do any good.   They just call again.   Will someone stop all these annoying calls?    I have had enough of them.  I would like some peace and quite from all these telemakerting calls that I have been getting for the past few years.   There just don't seem to be an end to them, I have had enough

I've gotten the same name on my caller ID except the area code is 281.  From the above posts, it appears the call is originating from the Dallas area since 469 is a Dallas-area area code.  281 is Houston area.  Regardless, I'm with everyone else on here...the calls have to stop.  I've tried calling the 281 number back but keep getting a rapid busy signal.

Keep getting calls from this number.  Finally answered...when answered they hung up. Who are they?

No one there !!  No ans. - I held on just to see IF a person would come on and nope !!

I too keep getting calls from the number listed.  I don't answer and they never leave a message.  I wish Federal Communication Commission would crack down on these guys. Tired of the phone ringing.

07/24/08  UNAS on ID ... I didn't answer because I've never seen that area code ... a couple of other numbers call like this and never say anything.

Have received several calls from UNAS on different numbers from the Dallas area.  I never answer.

THIS NUMBER CALLS NUMEROUS TIMES A DAY!! CALLED ON A SUNDAY AT 9PM..EVERYTIME I ANSWER THEY NEVER SAY ANYTHING. VERY ANNOYING. I WISH THERE WAS SOMETHING I COULD DO ABOUT IT.

Same comments as above.   Also, did a reverse lookup on att, with no information being found.  

The areas code 469 is listed for the Dallas / Fort Worth area.

We've let the answering machine pickup, and immediately get hang up/dial tone.

I think the donation bit is a scam, as is the supposed non-profit org bit.

A woman who sounded drunk called from this number and asked if she could send an envelope to help women with breast cancer.

The phone number for UNAS is 469-718-6655.  It is based out of Dallas Tx.

Org. that wanted me to donate money to cancer.  They do not have to follow do not call rules.  They are a non-profit org.  Raising funds for cancer treatment.  They wanted to send me a brochure, I declined and ask them to remove my number from their calling list.  The female said they would.

SOMEONE CALLED FROM THIS NUMBER. I DIDNT PICK UP, THE MACHINE DID BUT THEY DIDNT LEAVE A MESSAGE.

Called the 800-913-7437 number for the second time to be removed from thier list after getting a call just a few minutes ago. The guy this time ansered "Gift Deppartment", and said my name will be removed. Just now as I started typing this, the woman I spoke with on the 25th called me! She claims that it's just the two of them working in that office, and that my number must be under a different name. I provided the NAME that the phone belongs to. The lady again said it will take 48! YES, 48 hours for the calls to stop.

After doing some research at the Schaumburg BBB today, it looks like these guy's main scam right now is to attach notes and fliers to doors and mail boxes claiming the resident has missed a package. The flier claims "call the number to get your free gift". This must be the 800 number above. The then set up a time to come out to do an in-house water test. Afterwards they HARD SELL you some type of water softner sytem. People report that they never get the free gift, spoken of in the original flier.

Repeated calls with no one on the line.  Annoying.
