I find it hilarious that Managed Petroleum trolls these pages ^. I don't believe for 2 seconds that you replaced this "Erbie" fellow. I know people who do outbound cold sales calls for a living, and I have heard all the tips and tricks they use to try to con people. I also don't believe that Erbie is even his real name. Guaranteed they read all of these complaints to see what people are saying, and will come up with new strategies to weasel their way around. Sorry to tell you, but as long as companies are employing people with BRAINS you are probably going to have a hard time.

Just received a call from this number but caller ID said "Hi Tech Energy." They asked for the owner. I said he is not available and hung up.

They may as well stop trying to call me...I have a list of phone numbers I do not answer and they are on it.

I received a call today as well, but was busy and did not pick up.  The number was: 469-916-4980 However, I remember another call I received previously also about some petroleum company selling interest in a company that was about to open wells in Australia.  When I declined to hear more about the "opportunity" the person on the other end got quite defensive.   It appeared too much like a scam to me.

Just got a call from them telling me about an opportunity to own an oil well and make 3-5% per month. I played along as it was just like watching the movie "Boiler Room".  The guy did everything possible to keep me on the phone and get me to agree to accept a call from "an officer of the company." Finally got bored and terminated the call.

Has been replaced. there is no Room in this Business for rudeness.

recieved a call wanting to speak to the President.  Asked him who was calling, telling him  the President was semi-retired and there may be someone else that could assist him.  He (gave his name as Darren Lawrence) said he had to speak to the President as he was the owner and no one else could help him.  Took his name and number and googled the company (Manage Petroleum).  Put the message where the rest of the garbage goes.

Just got a call from Darren Lawrence at Managed Petroleum.  Wasn't sure about the call, so didn't put him through to the owner, which he didn't like too much.  Wouldn't give any details except a phone # and to say he was calling regarding "a project".  Guess my hunch was right, and I can toss that message!

So we'd have to be morons to not let you steal our money? We'd have to be morons not to invest in something some stranger who calls us cold tries to unload on us? That's what makes us "morons"?

I'd say, "think again" but thinking obviously isn't one of your strengths.

Just got a call from this company.  Seems pretty legit.  Looked up their website
Managedpetroleum.com and everything matched up.  Looking forward to do business with them.  In my opinion you have to be a moron to pass up an opportunity like this.  If you have been called before call them back.

Called to ask if I was interested in buying a part of an oil drilling event.
In order to send me an e-mail from the vice-president, and because the e-mail contains confidential information, caller wanted to know if I was worth more or less than $1,000,000 - call terminated

Also, received call.  Very rude person.  And wouldn't provide any information.

omg..Rude is an understatement!!! I speak with a lot of people from all walks of life, but Marche from the Management Petroleum Group takes home the Golden Globe for Rude award!!! Even if this company is legitimate why on earth would anyone work with them!!???

This morning I received the same call from the same number 469-916-4980, ext. 325.  His said his name was Darren Lawrence witih Management Petroleum Group.  As I am an Executive Assistant to the Chairman, I immediately asked what this was regarding.  He said is was regarding one of their "projects".  I asked him if someone else could help him.  He said no only Howard.  And was quite short in his tone and rude.  I tried to call back this number, but just got voice mail.

Received a call today from Darren Lawrence and upon advising him that he would not reach the owner unless I got more details, he became quite rude and abrupt and hung up.  Looks like my hunch was right according to all the postings here.  I asked him if he even knew where he was calling and he said of course but I asked where he was and he said Saskatchewan...we're in Northern Ontario, don't think we'd be doing anything in Saskatchewan...he didn't like me.

This is the second time we have received a phone call.  The company refuses to remove our numbers from their call list.  The caller would not stay on the line long enough for me to tell them to remove the number.  There is a reason for this, if they "hear" the words, remove from list...they must comply.  These guys are well schooled at law and hang up prior to "hearing" the words - "Remove from your call list".

So I called the number - you can only leave a message - so I did.  Nothing nasty, just emphatic - DO NOT CALL AGAIN!

I got the call this morning, she asked for the business owner by name and said it was regarding a project with Managed Petroleum Group.  When the owner wasn't available, the caller said she wouldn't leave a call back number, but would try to call back next week.  I will make sure that everyone in the office is aware of this caller, and to not pass the call on to the boss.

You can always phone the number and ask to be put on their do not call list. They were great, I've never had another call from them since!

I received a call from Darren Lawrence today.  He asked to speak to the owner by name, I told him he wasn't in and took a message.  Darren called back within 30 minutes, asked if the owner was here, I told him he wasn't.  Then he said "that's strange, I just received a voicemail from Tony" I responded by telling him it's possible he called from his cell phone and left a voicemail.  He then requested the owners cell phone number, saying he'd left a voicemail but didn't leave his cell phone number.  I told him I'd put him on hold and check it out.  As I expected, Tony didn't leave any message and was completely unfamiliar with this company.  I let Darren know he was mistaken, he didn't seem to like that.  That brought me here.  If you looking for people's money for investments, lieing certainly won't garner trust.  It goes without saying that I've thrown his number away.

Too many calles from this number and as everyone said very rude..

Had a rude person named Darren Lawrence call from this company. He asked to speak to the owner, and when I tried to get information like why he was calling, he was rude and abrupt and said "just see if he is available and transer me through". Told him that the manager wasn't available and I asked to take a message, wouldn't say what it was about. When I told him I won't give a message if he can't tell me what it was about, he said do whatever you want and pretty much hung up on me. There is no reason a Petroleum Company would be calling my place of business!

I just had this same call, such rude people.
I am the person who you need to get passed to talk to the President of the company, and I'm sorry but
these marketing calls that don't pertain to our business are a waste of time.

This guy calls here everyday, and acts like an old friend. I always say the boss is out or on the phone. Next time I will ask him to not call anymore.
