Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.

And folks should consider looking at maybe getting call blocking device or phone....you can Google them and many are around $60 or so.

I received the same message stating that i need to be at home between 12-4 with a vaild id to receive and sign for papers. They left this number. I believe that this is a scam.

I just got the same message.  Did anything happen to you?  Did anyone try to deliver any documents???

Received a long VM stating the last 4 of my SSN saying I needed to be home for a delivery of legal documents, they also stated I needed to be there between the hours of 12 to 4 and to have a valid id for signature.
They left a non toll free number, and really no explanation  

anyone know who this is?  I received a threating phone call (left voice mail)  and then the number to call back is not even toll free.

I have googled the phone number and the name of the busisness they say they are and can not find anything.
Anyone else received a phone call from them.
