Do not call this number back, do not return a call from any 473 area code number unless you know for certain who called you (family, friend, co-worker).  This call is from Granada, a country that does not have to observe the rules and regulations of the United States and Canada.

The scammers who called you want you to call them back.  When you do they get to charge you a surcharge for making an international call.  From the various threads I have sampled so far they seem to have been working a bank of numbers in the 473-520-97## range since November.

Got the same thing at 5pm today

Received a call (473) 520-9753 at 2:00 AM on my verizon Cell phone. Did not answer.

Got a call from this number at 12am. No message.

Received call about an hour ago. (11pm CST) My ringer is ON, but didn't sound. Only noticed after I looked at my phone.

We have radiant barrier in our roof along with heavy insulation. We can't even get local tv channels in the house,  so I am guessing it is NOT mind-control-devices-from-outerish-space.

After reading comments about this number, I decided I have neither the energy nor the inclination to call the number back..

Filing this under "Prank Call" to denote potential scammish behaviors.

Well, you'd better put your tin foil pyramid hat on then, to block the probe. It get's all shinny and the guys in the black helicopters can't see you. It snowed last night. Must be Obama's fault, right?

Same as every other poster. 1:30am call.  I have Sprint though. I wouldn't call back. I think it is the NSA trying to probe our minds over the phone in an attempt to raise Obama's approval ratings

Whatever else you do, do NOT call this number back.  You will be charged a hefty fee for International Long Distance if the call goes through.  It seems the way this scam works is that they call early in the morning like this then hope you will see the number later and call back.  You sit on hold with music playing while "waiting for an operator".  The longer you stay on hold, the more you get charged and the scammers earn a piece of the proceeds.

Me and my husband are getting these calls, started 2am this morning, One ring and then stops. Each time they call the last two digits change. I got 3 calls so far and hubby has 2. Going to report it to ATT

Same here. 3:00 AM and the again at 10:00 AM. I called it back and got a "please wait for operator" message followed by dance music. I hung up immediately. This is appears to be a scam to run up international phone charges. Report it to your carrier and Merry Christmas.

My husband and I both have Verizon and we received multiple calls on our cells from this number between 12am and 4 am one ring and then it hung up we had to silence both of our phones for the night.

Called about 1:50 pm rang once and hanged up

The call I got was similar to others, one ring and no message, just showed as missed call.  Since I didn't recognize the area code, I looked it up and this website showed up.  Since it's apparently coming from Grenada, it's probably a way to get you to call back so they can charge outrageous amounts for your call.  I don't just automatically call back a missed call if I don't recognize the number.  Probably saved myself lots of money.

I have gotten calls from this number several times this month.  All have been in the middle of the night.  Tried calling back and got a busy signal.  When the phone rings in the middle of the night it freaks you out.  I have AT&T  

3 rings at 4:10pm PST. No message left. I did NOT call back as it likely is a call-back scam.

Just got a call from this number. One ring. I do not answer on cell phone if I do not know the number anyway but still annoying since the number is on the do not call list.

Got a call at 12:40 am. Rang once then hung up they didn't leave a voicemail on my cell phone, caller I'd says Granada and I don't know anyone there so I am not calling back.

I got a call just after 10pm on the 13th,  I didn't realize I missed it,  so I guess it rang once.
 I Didn't get a VM, & it shows the word unavailable in my phone log (along with the number).
I didn't recognize the area code,  so I searched the number & didn't attempt to call it.
 BTW, I am no with Verizon or ATT, so its not that.
  I am reporting it to my Phone company in the morning.
I will check back in later, for or with more info.

Called at 8:56 am barely a ring then hung up. Clicked in missed call pulled up contact page that read Grenada. Researched right away found this. Then received a scam FBI call from IN, USA offering free security systems hung up and that number is 13174018241. Sketchy mane.
