Charged for three calls on my cell bill !! Scammed!

If you do a search on the '473 scam' you'll see it has nothing to do with the US Government, or its policies. It's going to snow tomorrow. Must be the Government's fault, right?

I did not answer the phone call, but who ever it was called at 0430 in the morning.  looking at other sites when other people answer the phone no one says anything, and they start to get phone calls from other numbers that match the area code.   DO NOT ANSWER!!!!

Just now got this call from Grenada, no ring but missed call. Thought it was a possible scam.

Several calls from this and 473-520-9795. Rings once. Usually at 3 or 4am central.

These Caribbean scams are like 900 numbers.  Their whole object is to get calls back, enabling them to charge your phone for 2 or 3 figures automatically.  If the FCC wrre actually working for us, they would put a stop to this....but then DC doesn't work for us anymore, they think we work but for them.

call came thru at 4:42 AM.  Don't know how many times it rang....of course at that time I was sleeping.  I don't answer calls I don't recognize the number or name.  Sorry dudes..........you loose on this one!

Same thing happened to me. Ring once and disconnect. Says it was from Grenada.

Maybe they just want to see if you will call them back before starting to bombard you will telemarketing calls. As they disconnect before you answer they probably don't get charged anything all all.

Just rang once at 10:30pm and then immediately flashed "missed call." More b******t from a*****e scammers. It is time that society demands more transparency regarding the origins of all calls (unavoidable, scam-proof caller IDs) and indelible prosecution for the scammers. And minimum $10,000 fines per call, with international reciprocity. I'm f*****g sick and tired of this s***.

I received a call from this number. My cell phone didn't ring, just said missed call. No message was left. I don't know anyone from this area.

When you have to get up at 2am and you leave your phone on loud incase you get called in, phone calls like the one from this number at 11:30pm is very very annoying. Stop calling.

Phone just rang once- I didn't even have time to answer. Caller ID says Grenada. I don't know anyone there- or even where it is!! Late call - almost 11 pm

Just came through as a missed call from this number but the phone never rang.
No one outside of this office has this number so I knew it was a crap call...

Received a missed call from this number at 11:30pm. Of course they didn't leave a message. Their number will be blocked so I won't ever receive a late unwanted call from them again.
