No unidentified calls allowed.

Actually, there's something much more sinister afoot.  Not everyone affected by the Target data breach has been called, and some of those who were called never shopped at Target.  But almost 100% of the people they have called drank milk at some time in their lives.  So it's either the milk producers scamming us -- or worse, their cows!!!

1212:1212 pm pacific standard time. missed the call, did try to call back but all circuits are busy..... thank goodness. I DID  shop online at Target that time period but did not do so in the store, online only and was told i was safe.....

From 473-520-9749, at 8:13 MST Dec 29. AT&T. Possible Target connection.

Practical answer:  Block all calls from Grenada if you have no reason to receive any.

Ideal answer:  Teach people from being so naive that they keep calling these scammers back and allowing them to profit from these calls.

I received an unwanted call from 473 520-9766.  How does one stop these unwanted calls?

It's a sex phone line scammer using a foreign country (Grenada) for his scam.  They ring your phone and hope you are curious or upset enough to call their Grenada telephone number, which is outside the reach of US authorities.  That's an unregulated pay-per-minute sex line (or just a recording saying to hold interminably) while they charge an ungodly fee to your phone line, plus the cost of an international call.

Because most people are used to having unlimited domestic long distance on their phone lines, and since Grenada's country code is "1" (just like the US and Canada), many people are fooled into thinking that "473" is a domestic area code -- which it is not -- and they call back and incur enormous charges on their phone bills.  Most of these charges go right to the scammer.

I wish I lacked the scruples that prevented me from making up and taking advantage of people like this.  In a few days, I'd be wealthy enough to buy my own Caribbean island.

Hope you didn't pay them over the phone? When ever I owe them money I get a text message/email. I don't get phone calls from them.

Just got a missed call from this number at 7:31am here in Tucson az. I have my phone on silent so didn't pick up. Anyone know if this has to deal with target getting their stuff stolen? Cause I shopped there during the dates they were hacked and they did say phone numbers were taken too right??

Got a call from this number at 2:43 a.m. Have no idea from who.

does anybody else here owe sprint any money? Their collection agency called me for the first time today and suddenly both my phones are ringing off the hook with crank calls

thankfully i have blocking so that my phone does not ring from anyone other than my family after 11p, i received a call from this number at 11:13p Pacific Time!  so i added to the auto reject list on my cell!  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I got a call on my cell phone at 10:00pm Pacific Time (USA) from this number.  I didn't hear the phone ring so missed the call.  The caller did not leave a voicemail so I don't have any more information about the call.

Looks like a scam from Grenada.  Check the area codr 473 page.
