Got a call on my mobile, like all the others here. Could not trace it on superpages.com reverse look-up.

I don't own a car, and it's a scam.

Same deal as everyone else.  Get calls from various numbers, this time 13037499642.  I didn't answer, but in the past have and got the same warranty message.  Can anyone make these calls stop?  Any suggestions on how to deal with them?

I'm on the do not call registry and yet I still get calls daily. Does anyone ever respond to these harassing calls by saying yes my car warranty is about to expire. I would love for you to sign me up! I doubt it. They waste their time and ours. I feel my privacy is being violated!!!

303-749-9642 was the number and i didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. If it is the car warranty people I am gonna be pissed because they won't stop calling my house. No one in my house has a car that has a warranty and we have told them that a million times. This s**t is so wack. What's happening to America where a simple device to talk with friends over long distances is used to scam and solicit people. BU***HIT

I have been getting calls on my home phone for at least a year now, telling me that my car warranty was about to expire.  Since the only car I own is 17 years old, and definitely not under warranty, I just ignored them.  However, in the last week or so, they have started calling my cell phone, and that costs me money!  I called the number, and a woman's voice (with a slight English? accent) comes on and says "This is not a working number."  No annoying tones which usually preceed such announcements, so I suspect the message is a "dummy" recording, not an authentic phone company message!

Car warranty renewal.  Calls all the time both at home and cell and changes their number frerquently.

Yes, I get this call along with other spam calls.  By the way, I NEVER received spam phone calls until I switched my number to AT&T.  I wonder if they are making money selling my phone number?

got a call at 9:40. No message left. Searched and it's id'd for a mexican couple in Colarado. Probably part of the car warantee crap calls I have been getting since getting call tones from myxertones.com

I got a missed call on my dorm room phone from this number only a few days after getting another call from a "warranty car service" at a different number. Thankfully I was not here to answer either of them, but I found out through this website what they were up to.

I find it very strange that they even locate numbers for prepaid cells and of all things numbers to MagicJack numbers. This beats all, makes it almost seem these cell companies may be in the deals?? Any ideas? I for one am fed up with the crap!!!

this number comes up on cell phone a couple of times a week, not everyday but about every other day.  there is never a message left.

I get calls from these car warranty scammers nearly every day from various different numbers. It's definately a scam, because my car is 20 years old, and the warranty has been expired for many many years before I even owned it!
Does anyone know if adding your number to the national Do Not Call registry stops these calls?

Same as all the above. I get calls from the 303 749-9642 and just ignore it. The one time I had answered it, it was a recording telling me that I needed to call them and extend my auto warranty contract immediately.

I think it is all automated and the cell numbers they call are from a numerical generated computer. I am in area code 406. They really have no idea who they are calling, just a number. I wonder if anyone has followed through with sending money?

This number has been calling my cell phone. These type of calls need to be outlawed. Whoever initiated these calls need to be hang in the gallows at sunrise.

rec'd call from 303-749-9642, when I hit redial, a message said the number was not available...I'll give them a warranty!!!

I just got 2 calls within 5 minutes of each other from these people. Both times, the message said this is your last chance... blah blah.  Some chance! They've been calling my cellphone with the same BS about twice a week for the last 6 months or so.
I've tried doing their "Press #2 to be removed from this call list" thing a couple of times before but its totally worthless, because they keep calling.  So today, I tried pressing #1 to talk to a live person. The 1st person was Indian & insisted on taking all my details before she would pass me to her "Supervisor" - Shirley.
They both insisted that they got my number from our car manufacturer & yet, at the same time, they had no record of what our car make, model or year is. I have also never given my cellphone # out to anyone, let alone Ford. We bought our Explorer used & well out of warranty...
I told "Shirley" that if they didn't stop calling me, I would be making a complaint to the authorities (which I might do anyway!), to which she said, she would pass my file onto the car manfacturer & hung up.
Very strange & very annoying.
