No message was left.

Major scam.  Person on the other line moans and says they are in distress and they need you to call them back. When you do, your line is charged a huge fee per minute (reportedly thousands of dollars!). My husband as well as 4 other people in my neighborhood have gotten this call in the past 24 hours.  It has been on the news today as a warning.  It's really hitting hard in our state today (Utah)!

Just got this call and called back.  Now calling my provider to explain what happened.

I just got a call from this number called it back it is a porno graphic call do not call back my husband got a call right after same phone ....

15 mins ago--hang up.

Same thing.  First my husband's phone rang, then mine.  Am notifying all my friends.

They are using a "random digit dialer", you just set the program to an area code and the computer takes over from there

Their number is from Grenada, which is NOT part of the United States.  In fact, we fought a war with them and invaded them under Ronald Reagan as President.  They certainly are not somewhere where the laws of the US are enforced.

And if you read some of the links in my forum posting, you will see that you were called at random by one or more automatic dialers dialing hundreds or even thousands or tens of thousands of numbers an hour.  Your phone number is not a state secret -- it will be found if they go through a sufficient number of calls.  If they are targeting specific blocks of numbers by carrier, e.g., blocks of 1000 or 10,000 consecutive numbers assigned by specific phone companies, all of which are public knowledge, your phone might just be in one of the blocks being targeted.

Just got a call from this number, no voicemail left so it must not be important.  Thanks people for posting on this, from what has been posted here, my family and I will definitely NOT be calling it back.

I got a missed call from this number early morning. It should be a scam nobody calls me that early. I saw the other posts and did not call back.

I just got a call on my phone from this number they hung up when I answered it said from Grenada

I had a missed call from this number. I called them back and heard pornographic sounds when the call went through. It may cost me significantly for the call and I'm mad that someone has my number for this type of scam.  

I got a phone call from this number this morning.  They hung up as soon as I answered.  I will not call them back.  I hear it is an expensive phone call to call them back!
