The automated voice on the Phone said it was from the "local telephone provider". Hung up shortly after that. Not the first time I have received a call from this number. Being on the national DNC list and Asking off the list seems to do absolutely nothing.

White pages say that the # belongs to Level 3 Communications in Rogers, Arkansas.

According to Manta, Level 3 is a "Telecommunications And Information Services" company.

Call was an automated call for renewing your warranty on car or truck. When told to remove from list, never got the first two words out before they hung up.

I get this call nearly every day around 4:15pm CDT. for the last three or four months! I press 1 as soon as I can and sometimes am connected to a person. The last person was Ethel at a company called "Dealer Services." When I pressed her for a phone number, she said, "let me transfer you to a manager..." <click> (hung up). I am unable to connect to the phone number when I call. Next time I will go along with them as long as I can to get as much info as I can.

This is brutal. There appears to be no way to stop it. I also get calls from front groups for the democratic party that feature telephone numbers blocked so I can't track them down. They are ridiculous. It is the same voice on every message but there is always a new generic name for the orgaization like "people for responsible government" or "mothers for change". They attack some republican by name and tell everyone to flood that poor slobs office with calls. Wow, I cannot think of anything that turns me off more than these automated phone blasts. I will be holding the Dem. canidates responsible with my votes if with this annoying tactic does not stop.

Don't assume that a call allegedly from the democratic party actually is - this is more likely to be a Karl Rove brand of trickery designed to make you dislike and vote against Democrats.  We already know that the IRI (a Republican group) is pretending to be raising money for Obama in the rudest way possible.  It doesn't even make sense that a group would be offensive in this way.  Get ready for more  of this kind of deceit - the dirty tricks election season has unfortunately begun!

got the call today around noon...says it's from arkansas...let the ones who are making the call do what they do best...inbreed...that's why they are so stupid, ignorant, and unintelligent. they can put their call where the sun doesn't shine. as long as i can see the number on the tv, i don't have to pick it up--let them waste their own dime.

Well they call me daily and once in awhile switch phone numbers today they used 205-282-4340.  If you ask to speak to a manager they hang up, if you asked to be removed they hang up.  If you press 2 to be removed they call from a different number and at a later time.  It is getting insane.

Began receiving calls every couple of weeks, I just hung up.  When I pressed "2" to be taken off their automated calling list they began calling everyday!  When I pressed "1" to speak to a representative the next time I received a call and asked to be taken off the list the woman began using foul language and told me to get ready to never sleep because the calls would come more often now.  When I *69 the call it gave me (479)202-4513.  It is an automated call line so you can not get through calling it back.  I went on-line to file a report with the Better Business Bureau and I did not have enough info to file a complaint but now I do!  Something needs to be done about this company!

They call several times a week and its always the same thing about my car's warranty. I actually picked up and spoke with a man a few days ago and he said that my car's warranty is about to expire and I need to renew it. I told him my car was far too old for that and to stop calling me. Then he hung up. They have been calling back even more frequently since then. Really obnoxious, so I have stopped picking up.
