Annie the same thing happened to us too. We came across a Yorkshier Terrier and the seller said he was from california he was giving them away because his wife had died and he didnt want them there because it was to sad. I got scammed out of 700 by the blue way shippers people and i had sent more but we googled it and seen that this was a scam so i called the western union and cancelled the money transfer and i was lucky to get the last payment i made but they had already tooken out the other. So DONT believe anything they tell you.

They emailed me about Shiba Inu puppies up for adoption.  She was "supposedly" living in SC but then had to move to Arkansas for work.  They really do ask you all the right questions but as soon as she said pay to  a company in Cameroon via Blue Way Pet Shippers. I Found it a little suspicious especially when they kept calling me trying to get my money! DON'T FALL FOR THIS! They are horrible people to do this! Make sure to ask all the right questions.

Thanks so much for your message.  I almost fell for the same thing.  I was looking for kittens and sent messages to several advertisements in the AJC.  Interestingly, the replies from different advertisements with various email addresses looked to have been written by the same person---all who were from different locations with stories of how they could send me the kittens for just the delivery charge.  Finally, they sent me a message from the "delivery company" - from Cameroon.  All I had to do was wire the money through western union.  

The messages were poorly written with grammatical errors.  Thankfully, people like you have posted these messages so that others will not be scammed.

and never got it said it was supposed to arrive at 5am, than they later emailed me 630am saying
they could not go thru with the delivery and i had to pay $700 more for "pet insurance" which on the website it says it is covered.

than i said im not paying i want my money back, they said they cant do it.
so i said im taking them to court just to scare them, because i already knew i got scammed lol!
and they said in these exact words "they are prepare" LOL!, and i said awaiting your attempts in taking me to court for "abbandoning a puppyy" i had never recieved =)

so they finally decided to give up and email me without the "proper company etiquette"
and he said he was going to "f*** the ask out of our contry" LOL!

got loads of email from a bloke call micheal wood saying would sell siberian husky pup with all papers and delivery for £200 sounding good we said yes, said he would send husky through blue ice pet shippers, so i looked it up and found this site. i told him about this site and ive had no contact with him since. becarefull everyone

another scammer called lee same offering husky pup from all over the uk but when you contact him he says he now lives in aberdeen  07031882996 be warned

O my god we have just recently lost our labrador and our german shepard is very miserable so we decided to get another do. St bernard my husban got suspicious and looked into it when i started asking questions they changed their story here are some of the things they said to me.

I decided to look into it further and emailed the same person from another two different email address and got the same email to everyone they told me there address was 10 Achvarasdal Cottage ,Reay, Thurso, Caithness KW14 7RR, UK Scotland.

They told me they deal with Blue way pet shippers when i called them and started asking all kinds of questions he started shouting at me he couldn't give me any proper answers to my questions plus when i called he said hello didnt say the companys name which you would normally do when i asked who he was he said ocean pets he kept asking me my name when i told him i thought this was blueway pets he said it is i also asked for a landline number he said the phones had been cut off due to some kind of fault.

I almost got scammed the same way! The ad said "Free akita puppy" and the location said Texas, but HE claimed to be on a 4 month auditor job assignment In Washington. He told me I only had to pay shipping. Then when he emailed me the agency( uShip <western unioin>) transportation forms, I did some research on it and It did'nt at all add up. By that time I knew it was a scam. I also researched the email adress, and found him on two scam list. I hope that those sick are found and locked up!

I notice that most of the messages on here about about free pets are all in or around the USA i live in the UK and have just come across the same person trying to scam me to, lucky i thought id check this all out 1st and am glad i did. Thank you all that have left your messages on here lets hope others check before they depart with their money.

Another scam is by Blue Way Pet Shippers as well as a breeder in Allen, Texas who breeds Siberian huskies. In my grief of the death of my beautiful 10 year old husky/shepherd/lab mix dog Noah, my elderly mother (who Noah was a great companion for her) and I saw on line these puppies. The first clue should have been that the puppies were free - yet the shipping cost $220/puppy. Then the breeder had to get me the puppies immediately because his wife was pregnant. So I had to take off of work as the shippers were going to need me to ship the money so they could get the puppies to me that evening. Like a fool, I should have figured that this was fishy as I was sending $440 to Camaroon. Then the fun began as they were having all sorts of problems - but the puppies were on their way. Finally, I contacted the FBI Internet Fraud Commission and reported them. The breeder was telling me to calm down while the shipper actually had the audacity to email me that he needed $1300/puppy for insurance. The good news is that it was only $440 dollars (ouch) - and I went out and found two beautiful crazy little akita puppies who are so wonderful. Watch out for these predators - they prey on grieving people and should be totally arrested for fraud.

Hey Don't feel bad about being scammed they are good at what they do!!  I got taken also by Tonys Puppies or lovely puppies said to be out of Little Rock Arkansas which they weren't) and Crown Pet Shippers.  I originally paid $200 for a yorkie puppy and shipping.  He was on his way NOT!!  they called and I needed to buy a crate to ship him Internationally $500.  They play on your heart strings so I paid it.  We are one step closer So I thought.NOT!! They tell me he is at that he is at the border and his shot aren't up to date they wanted another $500.  I contacted the seller Tony because that was his responsibility.  After numerous phone call and emails Tony says it is  looked after he will be there tomorrow!  NOT the next email came from Crown Pet Shippers that they are sad to say that the puppy contracted something and has passed away.  But  I had some recourse.  HAHA  if I sent the $300 for Administration fees and send them a photocopy of my drivers license and  sign a release form they weill send me all my money back plus $10000 for the loss of my puppy. I refused to pay any more money and I heard nothing from them again,
I reported the scam to whom ever I could.  Law enforcement from Little Rock called me but the phone number is not a Little Rock number it was a magic jack so they could be just about anywhere!
 
The names that came through in this whole process was Tony's Puppies, Lovely Puppies, Crown Pet Shippers, LNT Pet transport services and South Dakota International Pets Health department.  BEWARE!!!

They got me too for $378!!! I wired the money for my supposed teacup Yorkie via Western Union on Valentine's Day (as a present for my 6 yr old daughter)! Tjen they called asking for another $700 for pet insurance!!!  At least I wasn't dumb enough to send that too!!  Urgh! So wish I could sue them!!!

we have found a couple of puppies via a private seller on the net.she has said as theres a distance btween us the pup will be sent via pet deliverey,i wanted to know who and if the company is viable and trusted before making a payment to them,she said shell get back to me on the company she was going to use,this is blue way pet shipping services,after reading these its made me stop.

My wife and I were looking for an akita pup they were trying to get us for 400 we got suspious and google the shipping and they were trying to get us to western union to camerroon africa

I've been looking for Husky puppies and I found a couple of sites and inquired about them, when the listed three locations within 20 miles of where I live they told me that they had moved to OH and would ship them to me, but I'm not stupid, I asked for a shippers name before it went any further.  This happened today 4/26/2010

I also almost got scammed today 5/03/10 by a guy who had posted up an ad for siberian huskies. He called himself Tom Dree and said all id have to do was pay the shipping company: blue way pet shippers. This guy keeps calling me from that 479 number asking if ive already made the western union transfer. Luckily i went to western union and they told me it seemed like a scam. It had already seemed pretty fishy and now im glad i didnt go through with it. I recommend someone call the cops on these people

They almost got my wife for $300, trying to get a Bichon. Who moves out of state with a litter of puppies!  They need to get a better back story or use better grammar when emailing. Easy to spot when they say they are giving away a dog worth over $500.

some man m johnson was gonna give me a african grey parrot with cage for 250 shiping and of course i call the num for the shipping company (blue way shipping) and a foreign man answers like this: hello? o are you michelle for the puppy? wtf is that wat kind of business answers a phone like that, like they only have ONE person lined up when there supost to ship all over the world lol so i jus hung up on them. im not even michelle either so they must hav another poor lady tricked bout some dog.
