Scam.  Wouldn't identify their company name.  Called themselves a billing company for "too many registrars" to list.

Same here. I asked the man "YOU can't tell me the name of your business?" I've never in my life had a business tell me thy CAN'T tell me their name. I even asked specifically if it was GoDaddy and he wouldn't answer me. ugh!

He's now claiming to be from domainspricedright.com...

Just got a call from this number.  I'm a godaddy member but not up for renewal.

There would not be so many frickin' comments from people who have NOTHING to do with ANY "GoDaddy" bull-s*** site..... as is true in my case There is absolutely NO reason for ANYONE to be calling my cellphone who I have never dealt with before, or ANY website..... because I don't use this number for that.

same 480-366-3333, guy introduced himself as Angel, i asked whats his physical location, he answered Phoenix AZ, which is where go daddy is based, then he asked me for some pin? i don't know what pin he was talking about, so started asking him why they calling etc, he said that "just to make sure i did not purchase wrong products or services" so this looked sneaky to e i said, you should have my email on your record, email me with confirmation of this call and reason for it. We will see. I really doubt its go daddy call, very, very sneaky, some weird kids noises on the background? i bet go daddy would not have kids screaming and playing in their call center for sure.
Being said all this i believe IT IS A SCAM.

I have recived a call from them twice this week and have blocked them on my IPhone (thanks to IOS7)

I get regular calls from this number and would like my name removed from their list.

So, I missed a call from 480-366-3333. I called this number back and the recording answered as Billing Management Services. It then forwarded me to a female named April. I asked her who she was and why did this company call me, what does she want. She said unfortunately she was not certain of who called me and why and then proceeded to tell me they were a CARE CENTER!, I then let her know she was the biggest scammer on the internet and hung up. Seriously you pieces of crap, you really should try harder, much harder.

Got a call on this number but did not pick it up. All incoming calls are routed through Skype, and now, thanks to your website, I added the number as a Skype contact and called it "Scheming Scammer". So next time they call, I will be forewarned.

They're still at it (whoever they are). I just got a message today. It wasn't even a complete message, the beginning had been cut off, so I don't know if they gave a company name. Something about updating info for payment methods and I should call the 480 366-3333 number to ensure continued service.

Thanks to all the previous posts, I won't be calling that number.

A call came in that I needed to verify a charge - I could not hear much of the message - when I called back, I was told to leave my name, number and order number - I don't know who this is, what company it is - not professional al all

Called again today and someone was actually there when I answered.  They say they are Go Daddy reminding me that my credit card on file has expired (which is true) and they needed my new info so they could renew my account.  I asked if I could just submit the info through their website, but he said that if I call the number he gave me, they could offer me better discounts than I could get online.  Probably legit, but still sounds kinda sketchy.

They identify themselves as "The Billing Department" They handle billing for multiple companies including GoDaddy.com, hence the vagueness. I called GoDaddy on their main number and got connected to the same yahoos via transfer and verified the number (Which is not listed on GoDaddy's site, but is the same area code). I think this call was due to a billing issue (I cancelled a lost card which probably bounced some repeating payment), but since they aren't that good at identifying who they are, since they don't know off the bat who they're supposed to be when you hit redial, it comes across a tad sketchy. My Advice, find a smaller company that handles their own billing and customer service so these guys don't have the chance to muddle things up worse...

Called but hung up after one ring so I couldn't answer.  Could be GoDaddy, I have an account with them and it expires in just over 3 weeks (and my card has expired since the last billing 3 years ago).  Gonna switch over to network solutions or some other hosting site anyway so won't be renewing.

All I got was a recording saying billing department and thats it. This must be a scam.

Got 7 calls from them in the last 48hrs. First time I picked up and the line went dead. Have been ignoring the calls since. I never had a GoDaddy account.

They pretend to be Godaddy's billing dept but they are scammers. Beware.

I missed a call on my cell phone from 480-366-3333. No message was left. I am a client of GoDaddy. Glad I found out about this before any issues resulted.

I sell web hosting and one of my clients called me today and said that godaddy.com left him a message that his hosting account was pass due. He was instructed to call 480-366-3333. When he called the number they told him that they would shut his service down if he didn't pay them.

Next they wanted his password to verify the account. He was lucky that he didn't know his account information to give them. He called me and I told him not to talk to them anymore and that I believe they are trying to scam him.

We will get together tomorrow and contact Godaddy support and see what we can find out.

This place called me and left a message. I returned the call and they said they didn't know why they called me and that my CC must have been declined. They didn't know from who or which of my 6 CC it was. They then proceeded to ask me for my CC number and my pin number. What an idiot. What a poor scam.
I purchase all my domain names from Wild West Domains. Aproximatly 35 of them. All are paid and none are due. I am surprised that a company like GoDaddy hasn't let people know about this scam.

Received a call on 6/30/2008 from this number.  They identified themselves as Dynonames.  They said someone had purchased a web site domain with a credit card that was supposedly mine.  They gave me the last 2 digits of a Visa credit card number and said they used some middle eastern name.  I don't have a Visa card ending with the 2 digits they stated.
Very strange.

This sounds like a scammer to me. Presented themselves as GoDaddy but did not have accurate information from our account.
These guys are red-flagged around here. Avoid them.

That's funny when they called me they kept calling themselves "Billing Services" and said they were a service that worked with 'all major registrars - too many to list'.

They couldn't tell me what domain names came up for renewal, and refused to send me any type of email documenting the names that came up for renewal.
