Have requested to be added to DNC list and they continue to call 3 times a day.

The reason that you get the music on hold is because the phone system's computer dials your number PLUS a bunch of other numbers and then the computer waits for someone on one of all of those numbers dial to say hello (or something) and as soon as that happens it connects your phone line to an operator at the call center who then gets a screen full of information about your products and the operator tries to sell you more whatevers.

Just started getting calls from this number today. Called 4 times during the day, last time being 8:30 p.m. Only shows up as Wireless Caller. I have an unlisted number and am on the Do Not Call list and yet these calls come in. I don't answer numbers I don't know and the caller never leaves a message.

Called many times but when I was finally home when they called it was Family Circle magazine calling to renew my subscription

Calls every day, about 5 times a day.  Let my answering machine get is and they always hang up.  What a waste of time the Do Not Call list is.  Why don't them government enforce the laws and arrest these people.

Called three times today. Didn't answer. They left no message. Blocking number.

This number calls us at least every evening, sometimes twice in a day. A couple weeks ago I picked up, and heard music. I said "hello?" Then realized it was recorded music-- HOLD music, for the person BEING called. Absolutely ridiculous. I hung up.

I picked up again a couple days later, this time heard music and then a woman picked up after a few seconds and said "hello?" I hung up again, because I think it takes some nerve to call a home and put the receiver of the call on hold to wait until you can be bothered to say something.

Today they called again, and I say it's a scammer/fraudster, because no telemarketer would be so poorly trained. They call and ask my mom, "Is this L?" She says, "uh, who is this?" (Because YOU are calling US-- YOU introduce yourself first, nitwit). He says, "this is Chuck with More magazine," (she subscribes to it).  She replied, "she's not here right now, can I take a message?" And he says "nnnooope!" and hangs up.

Based on this, and other things I've read about this number it's at least a telemarketer, at worst a scammer. Be wary and tell them to stop calling. Don't give any information.

I got a call from this number Friday night, and the girl claimed to be calling from Playboy Magazine and they could give me a cheaper price on my renewal. I DO have a subscription, but I just renewed. Since I spend my spare time being a scam baiter (I bait scammers and waste their time).

Anyway--I played along and I was put on with her "supervisor" who needed my credit card number and social security number. Needless to say I hung up upon hearing that.

Calls and hangs up..Tried calling back and got a busy signal
