Its was green tree they are skum don't talk to them don't even answer their calls they are the lowest pieces of s*** there is.. they call from many different numbers and will break the law by calling you.. They do not care.. they have banks in their pockets so you will not win with these fools

A 2nd mortgage may get "wiped out" in a foreclosure but that is not the same as being "discharged". You still owe the money but the house is no longer collateral. Depending on the state you live in they may still be able to come after you for the debt. It would be considered a "deficiency" judgement.

Just got a call thanks for the info we had a second  mortgage with greentree that was charged off so looks like they are also bottom feeder debt collectors

They've called me several times, but left no message.  I called back and the message said they are "Greentree."  They serviced a 2nd mortgage for me several years ago, which was discharged in a foreclosure proceeding.  This debt has been uncollectible in my state for about three years.  Not sure why they are calling...

It's a collection agency for a pay day loan, They call on old pay day loans that were sold to them from several different companies. Very aggressive. They will threaten you with jail time. When they first come on they identify themselves as an investigator the Fraud Department at "THE" bank.They tell you that their is a felony case pending against you for fraud. Quesion them further and they get upset.  Because they are lying and depending what state you are in...breaking the law. I am simply recording their phone calls and preparing to press charges.

Does anyone know what this number is?  I have gotten 3 calls in the past week, but no message left.
