these jerks keep calling day and night.  I answered it once, my name was mispronounced.  I asked them where they were calling from and they hungup.

I have been getting called in Los Angeles from this number for several weeks now.   I never wait for someone to pickup the phone on the other end as it always appears to be a "telemarketer".

I googled the number and got this handy site.  I am going to not only NOT subscribe to VOIP from Charter but I am going to cancel my cable service due to this annoyance of telemarketing calls.

I haven't answered, nor will I. When I try to call back from a pre-paid phone ( to protect myself ), I only get a busy signal. I plan on contacting Charter and hope others will do the same.

I've received as many as four calls from this number. I either do not answers or lay the phone on the table and turn on one of my other phones which will blast the caller. I have signed up for not telemarketing calla but evidently this outfit is skirting the law or is outside the country.If it is a marketing call for Charter perhaps complaints should be filed with the FCC as well as writing Charter with your displeasure at their tactics or the marketing idiots they have hired in their name.

Just recieded a call from this number and Googled it, what a nice surprise to find this site.  I'll be sure not to answer it.  Thanks for the information!

I keep getting calls from this number, but there is never anybody there.  I've tried to call them back, but I get no response.  They are annoying me and I'm changing my number.

I too have been receiving numerous calls from this number. It is really getting to be a pain. Charter customer service was of no help and I'm about ready to cancel my service with them as well.

We get calls 6-8x per day..all hours...including btwn 3-6 a.m....but nobody ever speaks.  Our phone companny tells us to report it to our local police, which we are doing.  We've also filed a "nuisace complaint" with our phone company, but the calls have yet to stop.  This has been going on now for 3 weeks.  We were told to report this phone number to the "fraud division" of our local police.  Our phone company says they can't do anything about these calls.

I'm getting calls from ths number at least once a day.  I just hear breathing on the other end.  Thanks for your comments.  I won't answer any more.

This number calls my house at least 3 times a day.  I have a baby who takes a nap and now I have to take the phone off the hook so my baby can sleep.  Very annoying!!!  Is there anything I can do to block this number from calling my home?  This number has been calling my house for months now.  Very frustrating.

This number has been calling for the past few months 480-543-1256. One time when I answered it was a guy with a broken accent who mis-pronounced my name and asked about my American Express card....I hung up....just got another call this morning though.

This phone number has been calling every night about 8pm for the past month.  Since we don't know who it is, we never answer the phone.

LOUISIANA -Getting phone calls from this number too. No one there when I pick up. Very worrisome to me. I've had my identity stolen three times! If this really is a charter company rep then why don't they do something about it?

This is ridiculous!! Make it stop!  This number calls me several times a day, every day.  If I answer, no one speaks.  If I don't answer, there is no message.  How to get this number to stop calling ??

I keep getting calls after calls after calls after calls from this number.  It is very irritating.  They let it ring to get to the answering maching and then hang up.  By the time I get to the phone, they have hung up.  I get calls a mimimum of 2 times a week.  What can be done do stop this??

I received this call last night and when I answered it was a recorded message "from my cable company" and then it left a number for me to call if I had any questions about the call.  I didn't write down the number but I was going to call my cable company today.  Glad I didn't waste my time.

Ok yet another call again from this number in the evening. Did not leave message on machine as I would not pick up the phone when I saw who it was.

Has anyone had any luck yet blocking or having any other action taken regarding this? I'm getting tired of filing complaints at the "do not call" website set up by FTC.

looks like the number belongs to Qwest (telecommunications).  Don't call lists really don't work very well.

My local Charter Co. said they can't do anything abt these calls...so they directed me to their corp. ofc in St. Louis, Mo....I spent 30 min. "on hold" with them, then spoke to a customer rep....they are investigating these "nuissance calls" and have put me on a "do not call list."  Regardless, this is criminal behavior and it has been reported to our local police department.  I hate Charter Commm....all of their services.

Male Latino with broken English stated that he worked for Charter cable. I then heard small children fighting and yelling in the back ground. I told him I could hear his kids in the background. He said they were his co-workers! I then asked him which office he was at, and got silence. I then told him I was going to report him to the Phoenix, Arizona police. He hung up. Obviously fishing for credit card numbers.

I'm not answering the calls based on other entries.

I keep getting calls to my cell phone from this number.  I don't answer because I don't know who it is.  They never leave a voicemail.  I might just have to call this joker back.  Thanks for the comments.

This number has been calling me for the past month. Sometimes I answer it, but no one answers back - there is just static. It's super annoying, but I have yet to get a voice on the other end.

I"m in Alabama and this number calls me at least once a day.  He says he works for Charter Cable, which an Alabama cable company. Thanks for all your info..  Now I know I will never answer his calls.

I'm also getting daily calls from this number.  I don't answer either.

I just keyed the number in to google and got this site. I've gotten 3 calls just this morning from this number on my cell. I just dropped Charter and went to Direct TV..good to know that others are getting the same call.
