Keep receiving door hangers from (Phoenix) METRO DELIVERY with the number 480-776-0142 saying "sorry we missed you"...asking me to call and reschedule.. and gave me a conf. #.  WHAT am i rescheduling?  I didn't order anything...this is ridiculous.

Don't Call Back and Don't Leave A Message. What a loser idea, whether they are burglars or trying to sell alarm systems, coupons, whatever it is.

I only saw one post where the person was actually robbed.  Sounds like most of that is rumor.  Seems to be more of a sales scam.  Receive the door hanger tonight in the name of the homeowner (we rent).  Everyone on my street got one.  Lots of people home during the day so they'll be keeping a  lookout just in case.

I am a new home owner and I was handed the door tag everyone here is talking about. I was suspicious as I saw a  two toned 2001 white & tan Mitsubishi Montero Sport was parked at the corner of my property ( not in the front of my house ) and in the opposite of traffic flow. I watched out my window for about three minutes. I young man that appeared to be latino maybe 22-23 yrs. of age wearing a white ball cap crooked and backwards with jeans on and a plain white t-shirt ( with no company insignia ) handed me this door flyer as I opened up the door. I asked " what is this?" He said " I needed to call to get my delivery." I asked " What is it you deliver and with what company do you work for?" He was walking away as he was answering my question. He said " We work with companies like LG, Samsung and other home appliances." He was in his Montero Sport and took off....! This was bad all the way around. No company name, some random Joe coming to my door, no real answer, and was walking away as I was speaking to him. I'm now on alert as on Thursday evening around 8p.m. there was a white 2004 Nissan Exterra that had drove up and sat iddling at curbside in front of my house. I stood visibly looking out my widow and they drove off slow. They had drove slow again and again past my house. Then they did a u-turn and and shined there lites at me as I was still in the window they flashed there brights at me a couple of times and drove off. Wether this has anything to do with the flyer or not I don't know. But I think they just didnt want to deliver the flyer on my door seeing that I was home and watching out my window. I feel this because of other posts I have read about this flyer. This is a crappy marketing technique or a scam or a way to get burglarized as I see it. It only seems to be happening to new home owners. Please be aware and DO NOT call this number back and give them the confirmation number. It is only a voice recording and they do not mention anything, they only ask for your information.

Found the same tag on our door, wasting sure if it was something important or not, so I called.  I actually got a "live" person on the phone and asked what it was.   She then said I need your name and confirmation number or I can get "fired".....I can't give you any information unless you give me yours....whatever, hung up on them.

I called the above number and i thought that we had some important package delivary. gave the lady  he confirmation number , she said that i have packet of copons for new home owners and mentioned about some security system for house. i did not realise this and gave her details of our house and told ok for them to demonstrate their security system tomorow evening. After reading hese posts i would rather ask them not to come

What a scam.  I found one at my door today, I was home all day no one ringed the door bell, they just shoved it to the door.  Curiously a new home owner too.  This should be reported to the police. I'm glad I googled their phone number.  Thanks for sharing.

Same thing.  Just closed on a new home, got a door hanger the next day.  Title company didn't send anything out.  Called the #, they wouldn't confirm who/what the "package" was for/from.  Did more investigation online, learned it's from Protection Source in Gilbert, 480-776-5093 and 480-776-5091 and 480-776-5087, husband & wife team Matthew S Willes and Kristine L Willes, also dba Metro Courier, trying to sell alarm systems, getting names/addresses off newly recorded documents at the County Recorder's office.  Maybe casing for burglaries, too, since now they have a new homeowner's address and telephone number and can tell when nobody's home.  Reported it to the consumer alert people at Channel 12, Channel 5, Channel 10, and Channel 3, as well as the AZ AG, Maricopa County Attorney, and the Better Business Bureau.

quite a bit of posts about the 480-766-5093 number, same notice, same story but some folks report being robbed.
