I get almost everyday a call from this number and when i pick up the phone they hang up.

For those that think their cell phone number has been sold or given away, know that these things usually use "auto-dialers." these just dial every possible number combination automatically. It then listens for a system recording (like "the number you have dialed is not in service), and as long as it doesn't get a recording, it knows it is a good number. These things can dial hundreds of numbers in no time at all. Not saying that is the case here, but 9 times out of 10 when you get a call from a disconnected number when you try to call back, that is the case.

Multiple calls per day - will not stop even after repeated requests.  Sounds like a scam.  How can I get it to stop?

I receive the same calls and have gotten no answer when I call it back or the disconnected message. It is totally aggravating!!!

I just got a call from 480-892-5113.  I always greet caller with my name, not "hello."  I answered the call "Susan H" and the caller said "Susan M."  I got married and am no longer Susan M, am now Susan H.  I repeated my name was "Susan H." and the caller hang up.  That's when I checked the number on the internet and am now posting.  It would appear that this is scam.  There really should be a way to prevent this from happening.

You cannot "handle it" if you don't know WHO it is or WHERE the call is coming from exactly. I am checking to see how I can block the call.

I get calls from this number regularly and the story is the same...no one there and when I call back, the number is disconnect. I too, would like to know how they get our cell numbers. Whomever it is must get "bonused" on number of calls made. What a lousey job they must have and one would hope the compensation is satifying because I wouldn't tell anyone I did this for a living!

Just got off the phone with the lady. She knew my first and last name. Offered me lower interest rates on my credit card. Told her I didnt have any credit cards. She then said " Oh my, Oh No" Then the stupid B!#%$ hung up.

Got a call and they asked for me by name. After saying "this is he" they hung up.

The same here...I call back the number its disconnected. Either the cell carriers are selling oure numbers or our numbers are stolen when we use the internet to reply to information.

This phone number said that they were a law company and said they can help me with my debt. I have no debt. These idiot people. They need to stop!!!!!!!

When I answered the phone, the guy who called said he wanted to talk to me about my credit card account. When I asked "What credit card account?" His response was, "Obviously the ones you don't have" and hung up.

Rang about 3 times then disconnected.

If you get a call from a person you don't know (a stranger), DON'T ANSWER!  It's not going to hurt their feelings, but it could hurt you in more ways than one. Simply put them on your personal Block Caller list and then delete the call and message.  Don't assume the government's Do Not Call list is going to handle it - it won't. File a complaint with them!
Never give your cell phone number TO ANYONE!  That's personal information!  If you do, you might as well give them your house keys - you just gave them permission to call you ANYTIME.  Never call them back, you just them a working phone number.  Do your homework on these people.  Make a note of the phone number, search them online, get an address, and sue them. If that's too much work, than you have no right to complain and you'll keep getting called.  They are abusing your phone service. Stop assuming the government will handle these people - YOU HANDLE THEM!

I just got a call from the same number.  Called back also disconnected.  I wish these m0f0s would have the courage to make this inquiry on the street.  Then I would post a photo of what would go down.

I too had a call 6-29-2012.  Same as above no message tried to call back and it has a disconmect message

Continues to call in evening wanted to speak to my husband and then getting angry when asked who is calling, then calls me a nasty name and hang up

these people need to quit callin my cell , i don't know who they are and when i answer they hang up like its a prank call i want it to stop or the number is goin to the law

get calls from this number on my cell phone once or twice a day for a month now, I answer and nobody says anything they just hang up, I call this number back and sometimes I get music played with nobody that answers and sometimes I get this number is disconnected? I don't want anything from them or need to talk to anyone at this number, here in missouri it is illegal to call cell phones now trying to sell stuff I want it to stop.

Are they racially profiling by voice; if its a black voice--no answer?

Here's a suggestion. I just put this in my caller list under "scammer" so now when that number shows up I'll know its these jerks calling and I'll just ignore the call. Not too much bother to look at my phone and skip the call.

Mobi cel operator told me the culprits took my number out of our phone directory.  I told him there are no directories for cel numbers that I know of and that for my landline phone, I am not in our phone book!  Then he tells me, the ARIZONA-based company gets our numbers off of the internet.  You know, when you try to read something off the internet and your personal info is needed BEFORE they'll let you in on what you want to know!  I've even tried giving the WRONG phone number and the call WILL come in to me with the WRONG phone number showing.  What irks me is how is it possible to be calling from a DISCONNECTED phone?  Are they considered hackers?  This has to be a crime, to be getting services without paying!  And to be harrassing this nation with unwanted phone calls.
