I received a call from this numbe as well.  What is this?

I get calls from different number for auto warranty. I am tired of it!

I went through the entire process to get this information about the company, albeit non-legit, to be sure.

I am on the DNC list and have also received calls from the same company from the following phone numbers since May (since I have been tracking them):

I have tried pressing 2 to be removed from the list, I have tried talking to people (all of whom have hung up on me), and this time, I gave them fake information in order to get them to divulge their information, which is likely fake.

I am getting the same calls over and over.. it's a recording..

I heard the same machine voice and immediately knew that I got a phone scam. I heard it's "second notice about car insurance".

The problem is I got these numbers on my cellphone.

And I don't own any car because I don't have a driver license yet.

I get these types of call all the time on my cell phone.  It must be a random dialer because I never snswer them and they don't call my home number.  Sure we can all report them on these websites, but it really doesn't do anything.  The FCC is so backed up they can't keep up.  There has to be a better way.

THEY CALL MY HOME AND CELL PHONE SEVERAL TIMES, CALLED BACK AND ASKED WHAT CAR THEY WANTED INFO ON, BEFORE I COULD TELL THEM TO REMOVE FROM CALLING LIST, THEY HUNG UP.

Everyone here seems to think that this company Allied American Warranty is a scam, but it is actually a legit company. I received a call from the number and spoke with the nicest young lady, and she convinced me about the warranty which I currently have one my vehicle. I have been scammed before and I did not want to be a victim twice, but she convinced me and I received everything I was promised within the time frame I was given. I really have an extended warranty on my vehicle as promised.

Hit them where their pocket book is... call the 800 numbers: Their phone is 1-800-649-1856. Also known as Dealer Services 1-800-607-9350. hit 5 to get in a nonstop loop about the national do not call list, and just let it run over and over and over for a few hours to run up their charges...assuming you have another line you can use in the meantime....

other numbers for the warranty companies: 1-888-963-6723 will get you thru to a Cust svce rep..

supposedly the person who set up the dialer at Qwest communications is zack austin at 1-800-753-0870

I saw the other number of 888-690-4926 listed in a post above too

WHO IS THIS?

I have recieved my 6th or 7th call. Its always the same thing. You were entered to recieve information on your warranty. my newest car is 17years old.

Teh newest number is one different from above so I will add it. Apparently the news reported last week in Arizona that some goverment agency is "looking into the problem". I thought we had looked into this and it was suppose to be illegal to call. btw. Its my company cell phone they keep calling not even my private line.

Same thing. Warranty, and if you call back the call does NOT go through.

This is annoying. Get same type of calls from different phone numbers in 10 minutes. Is there anything we can do to stop it????

Just got a call from 484-380-3096.  Yes, trying to sell me insurance.  They have not taken me off their list after the 6th time that I asked them.  I asked for a supervisor and heard a click.  Strange.  

This is on my cell phone.  Im sick of it, something has to be able to be done.

Today I recived a Missed Call from 4843803096 as I dialed in this line its voice message read is out of service.. but i figure they are telemarketers using different numbers each time to catch you on your phone.. selling whatever they sell.. um
i would like to know if anybody has found a solution to this problem.. than were here other than to report!

We've recieved many calls from this unknown source,
and from various,
only for kelsey they have occasionally asked about her car(which is funny..because we're fourteen.)
but they never respond to maria,
and they never STOP.

we are VERY scared,
annoyed, and we are completely out of the common area for these calls-LA,
we're in florida.

Car Warranty - They send mail, call work (recorded message), call the cell.  Really annoying!!!

just received a call from them and asked whether they know it is forbidden to call with telemarketing. The guy answered angrily that I should not pick up the phone if i do not want such calls. Perhaps I better should not own a phone

I have received only 1 call from each number, but its on the emergency line at work.  I work for a psychiatrist. It was regarding my car warranty. The recording said to dial 1 to speak to someone or 2 to be removed from calling list which I did. Then I called the number and it was disconnected....Go Figure

I just received a call from this number and selected the option to speak with a rep. I told him I wanted to be removed from teh list and he stopped talking so I vented and cussed him out.

I called the number on the caller ID and it is anon-working number. Thus, this warranty company gets hold of "old" numbers to screw up anyone that attempts to track them down. This has got to be illegal - and yes, I am on teh donotcall.gov list and it is current. I get these calls at work, home, and even my company cell phone.

One more call from you guys and I will hunt you down !

Just got this call too...glad I didn't answer it!  I thought it was a creditor too!

I too received bunch of calls from this number.

What are the next steps? can we take some action agaist these people? is there any law against this? can we put them behind bars?
