i was hit with the exact Alfie Douglas scam except last night i received 2 emails from an "FBI" agent (Ron Kennedy) wanting the name of the party who sent the check and the name of the comany on the check, otherwise he and his "co-FBI Agent"...lol were going to come to my address and "get me arrested" !  I replied that i turned it over to a close friend in the US Marshalls office and that he shouldnt have to worry about the matter again.

Another victim of this person via Craigslist. ALWAYS google names before doing business with anyone over craigslist.

I too heard from Brayne Amanda based on a craigs list posting.  I was not smart enough to goodle the name first and I followed through.  I did get a check made payable to me delivered by Fed Ex.   I have instructions to send by Western Union the money to  a mover to come and pick up the item I had for sale.  What kind of scam is this?

I got this too from Anderson Watts.  What is the scam?  What happens if you send them your info?  What do people gain from this?  I don't get it.

I told his 'person' to mail me a certified check for $10.5 million US and I would send the change along with the item... still waiting for my big check!

This is EXACTLY the email I received as well, verbatim. I'm glad I googled it first. It seemed shady!

He contacted me as well, and when I responded I wasn't going to sell to him because he was a scammer, he responded "you should trust me - remember your best friend was once a stranger, too". So creepy.

Alfie Douglas was the name used along with this number for an item on Chicago craigslist.

What a scam!

Replied to Chicago craigslist ad for a kennel by the name Richard West.  Asked for name and address so that a check could be mailed to me.  Listed this number.

I just got the scam in response to a Craigslist post for a saxophone I'm selling, listed her name as Amanda Brayne.

We also got contacted by this person today....i knew it was a scam when they asked me to send money back.

Huge craiglist scammer. Goes by many names including Janet Nesta a quite a few others. Quite the scammer.

For some reason I googled her as well after she replied to an auto trader ad we have for our pick up truck. Sounds like she's up to no good, thanks all!

I just Googled the name because Amy Bylo wants to buy my transport trailer through Paypal. What's the scam ?

This guy/girl just tried this with me as well. Think what I might do now is go on some erectile disfunction website and some of the grossest porn ever made and give them this scammers email address. I won't get to see there reaction but I'll laugh thinking about it. Amy Bylo.....enjoy LOL

wow.  I am glad I looked on here,.  Amy Bylo has attempted to buy my fleetwood trailer asking to pay through paypal and wants my info....this person should be reported to the police.
