The number is Healthcare Direct. I'm not sure it is associated directly with the ACA/Obamacare; however, if you have even perused any kind of marketplace for healthcare, they now have your contact phone number (at the very least). Regarding the volune of calls, I believe the employees have a quota to fill in "return calls"; actually signing someone uo for a healthcare program may be a bonus. So, don't be surprised you're getting sooooo many calls with no connection. Side note: if you are young and healthy, it makes sense to take the ACA fine of $95.00, and pay only what healthcare services you need.

They have called me as well...if you have the option to block the number ...block it...I do not have that option BUT I did set them as a contact and set the number to go directly to VM...since they do not leave a message.....I wont every have to deal with them again :)

They call, I answer, they hang up. I called back...it's some insurance company I think they said Healthcare Direct, but the connection is really poor. I'm pretty sure the calls started after I registered on the Healthcare Marketplace website. Thank you Obamacare, one more stupid thing to deal with.
