I have a kijiji ad for babysitting and this number text me telling me not be be afraid on how he found me.... :s

Received the text below from this number....

Yup, craigslist scam. Report and disregard this number.

this guy text me and says he's on a oil rig wanting to buy car for his sons graduation.But he need me to pay western union fees because they dont accept pay pal.

Same thing happend to me today wanted me to ship him a car

They scammed me by using craigslist and pretending to be paypal using this email and phone number

This guy is at it again..do not do business with him. I had an ad on craiglist he did exactly as everyone here discribed. I have had 3 people in two days want to buy my stuff for a friend and send it overseas...

I just had this problem like 20 mins ago he emailed me from a fake email asked if the phone was in good condition and said he was going to send me the money through PayPal. I almost went through with it til PayPal asked me to reply to the email and it showed that it was a fraud email

The guy called me, he sounded like he was from Iraq or something

He did the same scam on me

He did the PayPal scam on me but I figured out before anything, he kept me up all night, now I'm going to be texting him  in the middle of the night all night until he stops contacting me, his area code is from Pensylvania, Eastern Standard time I think, if your up when it's his 3am or something, you should do that too, just saying, it will keep him away

The same thing happened to me today.  He offerred me $80 more than the item was listed for, claiming that it would cover shipping costs.  I am from the Southeast, and he claimed to be on a business trip in PA, which is why he could not meet locally.  Textbook scammer.

I called him and bitched him out lol what's funny was that was the second paypal scam artist I dealt with that day, smh...so I let him know how worthless he was. Be smart people.

Claims his name is Paul from Nigeria.  Wants debit account number to send $.  Has texted multiple times and called 5 + times trying to convince us to send him a ring.  Can't get him to QUIT calling and texting even after he cussed at me.  DO yourself a favor and DON'T deal with this NUT!!!

Just tried to scam me with PayPal, Do these guys ever learn.

I almost texted this person back. My guts instict  told me to google this number since its a different area code. I came to this forum.. Thank your for all the info. If you get one of this pls delete and ignore.

So,  interesting I just so happen to get a text with the same comment " Still available for sale and what is the condition USD" definitely a scam.

Scammer - keeps calling me - begging me to help him by sending him stuff.

Well, I did think it was a scam as well. But I made him send me the money first. But he is the one who ended phoneless because I didnt send him the phone I was trying to sell. Now I feel bad lmfao!

This person was trying to buy something off me and for me to send it to a third world country. DON'T DO IT

Tried to scam me. Caught on quickly. Ended badly for him, i called the police in Allenville, emailed paypal to block all requests to his email, and signed up his number to a bunch of phone sex chat lines and ringtone subscriptions.

the person at this number get an ad from Craig's List and then asks you if it's still available the condition and it goes from there.  Same old scam just through text rather than email.

Tried a Pay Pal scam on me...  Nice try!
