Calling my cell in alabama say the're with AT&T said I have to move internet service or cancell, and she wanted my pin when answered the phone today. I went online to see my account with AT&T and there was nothing changed

on line switching from time warner to frontier filled out a on line form said would be contacted in two business days to set up a day and time. on saturday 3/30/2013 5:20 pm got call from 484-821-4001 sunday 3/31/2013 easter sunday man voice message left said this is frontier from pa. that i would be getting some papers to fill out and return to get phone order set up. on line receipt says frontier (authorized sales agent) the caller id says: synchronous tec...  my guess is this company is an agent for several companies.

Not a real number, hang up and call it back...try to phish for you info.

I have now received 7 calls from this number in the past 15 minutes. Talk about excessive. I haven't answered..... Ugh

Got a call from this number this morning claiming to be AT&T. Caller intimated that I'd called earlier and tried to change my password. ( I hadn't.) She asked for me by name and called my cell phone number. She seemed to be phishing for answers to my security questions. After hanging up I called the number. A recorded message told me go enter my Nortel password which I don't have. Next I called AT&T and shared the story.  While I was on the phone the AT&T person told me that someone had just called asking about the eligibility for an upgrade!

I have no idea how someone got my name and number but this whole thing has made me jumpy enough to have a fraud watch put on our account and to add an extra layer of security.

I just recieved a call from this number.  They state they are calling from AT&T, but did not have any of my information, Just my first name. But wanted me to contact somone in one of their departments about paying a past due balance.  Sounds very fishy to me!

Called after I placed a mobile phone order through Dell. It was about a deposit required to finish my order and all things were legit with this call!

i receive several calls a week and have legitimately missed it every time, but never get a voicemail.

i just received a call showing up w/ this number on the caller id (as Bethlehem, PA) and they left a voicemail--said it was Time Warner Cable calling about a request i'd filed online (which i had, legitimately)--and they left the standard 800# on the voicemail saying i should call that back...hope that helps

We are switching our phone provider and in the process got a call from this company saying they are ATT, the company we are switching to, and they wanted our passwords.  They came up as a Pennsylvania call, and not the representative from ATT we were talking to.  Is this phishing?

I also received a call from this number.  They're legitimate - I talked with them and they knew everything about my account and my order.  They're part of an AT&T Transition Team so it's likely that your area is one that was recently purchased by AT&T.

Got a message from "Jose" wanting to switch a cell # to ATT, but lacked account info. I have no plan to make such a change.  Talked too fast, had to replay message several times to get a call back number which was for Progressive Insurance.

It is in fact AT&T calling. They were calling in regards to a new wireless account. They were letting me know the old cell number wasnt available for porting, etc..
