That's the # for AT&T/Cingular voice mail.
| De 2011-06-06 20:49:41 Unknown |
This is the number for AT&T Voicemail. All the programmed voice mail numbers go to this. Nothing to be alarmed about.

Got a call from them. I don't have any business with AT&T except Internet Service, and they are trying to overcharge me for it, just like they did for regular phone service. It started out around $15-20 a month, but now that AT&T has become a MONOPOLY again, they are charging whatever they want, and when it got up to $50 a month, I told them to take out my land line but leave my Internet in. I was paying $14.95 for Internet at that time. Since then, they've tried to charge me $29.95 a month, just for Internet! I took it to the state Attorney General's Ofc. (AT&T isn't afraid of an Attorney General, any lawyers, the feds, or anyone). AT&T said it would drop to $9.95 a month (still not $14.95), and that I could call back in a year to see if they have any "specials" - otherwise it will go to $29.95 a month permanently. This is ridiculous, as their competitors are all "falling all over each other," sending out mail saying they offer Internet service for $15 a month! I told AT&T this, but it didn't change anything - they've got their mind made up that they are gonna get as much $$$ out of everybody as they can. After all, they're a MONOPOLY! Write your Congressman\Congresswoman and Senators in Washington, & let's get some genuine competition back in the phone and Internet industry! My State Public Service Commission wouldn't help - the lady kept saying that they "don't regulate the Internet!" Wake up, folks, before it's too late! Go to Ripoff report.com and see their latest scams, where their sales people tell folks just anything!
