call me talking kidnapping me
David 2013-07-13 16:47:04 Telemarketer
In the past 48 hours, 501-588-7097 has called my private cell number 27 times
and left 3 to 4 second blank empty hang up voicemail messages every time.
For the record, though many tend to forget and ignore it, telemarketing to
cell phones is actually still illlegal regardless of "DO NOT CALL" list status.
Enough is enough though, I have very excellent call blocking capabilities on my
phone and I just banned their number from calling me, their calls also will no longer
go to voicemail, and my phone will also block making any outbound calls to that
same number. No phone ringing when they try to call and no record will be kept
of any call attempts other than a notation in the blacklisted blocked calls security
database on my phone.
So long Wyndham or whoever you are ....... rest in pieces

they call a couple times every day, never leave a message
joshua 2013-02-18 17:53:21 Unknown
You state that you are just a travel agency. I have never stayed in a hotel, motel, inn, suite, resort, etc. Your company must leave us a message to prove this, simply calling and not responding is not very polite. Some folkes here have even called back, you don't answer. Its a machine. You expect us "to answer the first time" is being conceited if you ask me. If you have my information that i stayed at a hotel of yours you have all my information. That includes an address. It is cheaper for the company to send brochures daily than to employ scab workers like you for minimum wage. Hrmmn, $7.52/hr versus... whats the going rate now...oh yeah, 45¢. As a matter of fact keep calling, waste your company's money so they go belly under and are forced to not call us with advertisements anymore.

Idiot, it is the Wyndham vacation center, they didn't sell anything and trust me you gave them permission to call you just didn't realize it.
I run a call center 2013-01-26 18:14:37 Unknown
See, just like you they have a job. It isn't about getting a hint they use a CRM that houses ever call center agents todos and is linked to a power dialer. If you do not do your due diligence and asked to be taken off the list then the computer will continue to recycle your todo through the systems power dialer until you answer the phone. It really is that easy.... these people are not calling you just because they are calling you because you gave them permission in some way shape or form to do so (or else they would not be calling you as the fines from the FCC are huge!!!). You had no problem not reading fine print when you signed up for what ever you carelessly signed up for now if you want it to stop all you have to do is negate the permission.... really that simple in fact it took you longer to look up the phone number and post your opioion than it would have taken to simply say sorry, im not interested, please remove me from your list!

Caller ID reads, " Vac Tour Travel." 501 588-7097. I never answer calls I do not recognize. I hook up the phone to fax machine. These vacation getaways are all scams.
Caller: Vac Tour Travel/SCAMMERS.
Call Type: Prank Call

And they called again this afternoon (1213 hours Pacific DST).
I note that I stayed at a Wyndham property in Portland OR about three weeks ago. My personal phone number must have been provided to these vacation-rip-off scammers by Wyndham. So much for Wyndham's privacy policy!
(Hmmm. I stayed at Wyndhams run-down Travelodge -- I wonder if Wyndham violates in the same way the privacy of guests who stay at Wyndham's $450+ per night accommodations?)

And the list goes on...

Yes -- they called me yesterday at 8PM Pacific DST. I never answer my cell when I do not recognize the number.
Check out all of the complaints by victims so far this year regarding these bald-faced liars.

I recognized the number from a previous cell call that I looked up.
This time I answered with "police service". There was a pause then the male stuttered "oh, I'm sorry I got the wrong number" and hung up.
I probably won't get another call from them!

Got a call, delayed answer, ask "Is this Mr. G". I said not and the caller hung up very quickly.
idea 2012-07-19 05:16:05 Unknown
lets all call them back tomorrow july 19, 2012 at 1pm pacific time ... its sure to overwhelm their system.
GS 2012-07-05 18:53:13 Unknown
Same here, getting calls that sometime hang up before the voice mail starts, sometimes a few seconds after. All I hear is chatter from a very noisy room. If this was serious, they would say who they are. If this was Wyndham hotels, then this is the worst advertisement they possibly could do. If it is not Wyndham, then Wyndham should try to shut this illegal operation down as fast as possible, because it must be hurting their business in the long term.
tam 2012-06-16 04:48:33 Unknown
who are you
Daniel 2012-05-19 11:45:36 Unknown

Wyndham hotels consist of 60% of the hotels in the united states e.g. Super 8, days inn, wingate, baymont inn and suites, the list goes on. When you first stay at one of these hotels(check in) you are automatically enrolled in a program called the Wyndham Rewards program... VTT are independent contractors with Wyndham. Do i need to explain more?

Sales call... uses unkind process of autodialing and no message - also on call back there is no automated - take me off the list option as there should be....
GI 2011-08-18 22:43:04 Unknown
Start talking in a foreign language...They stop calling then...
ray 2011-08-09 00:40:05 Telemarketer
I will never stay at a Wyndham hotel ever again. How low down can a company be to invade your privacy to try to sell you something and, to top it off, they use automated dialing. This kind of garbage was made illegal years ago, but apparently some scum companies did not keep up with the times. Stay away from Wyndham Hotels.

I kept receiving calls from this number. According to the area code it shows Arkansas. I called back and it was a recoded female voice asking to leave my name and phone # and an agent will conatct me. I did not leave anything. How to stop this stuped calles?
screeninmycalls 2011-07-15 19:43:07 Unknown
They called almost everyday for about 3 weeks now sometimes twice a day. Calling them back doesn't solve anything call this number and ask to be removed from the call list. 501-329-5434 I got if off another site like this while searching the number. The receptionist seemed hesitant but then rather nice.

Also a person 2011-06-11 00:12:26 Unknown
Then if you are people too (and not a mechanical calling system) LEAVE A MESSAGE !!!! Otherwise it looks like a scam. Not that I am going to call back anyway, but treat us like humans too !
