Keep getting calls from this 800-466-3337... never leave a message. I'm on the **DO NOT CALL** list, too.
This is really aggravating when the call and never say a word, even if you answer. If this is a department of Home Depot it's very poor business!

this was home depot, who were silent when I answered. suspecting a scam call, got on this website and
found many reports of problems from this number. called the #, got customer service, explained they have a problem and the rather large number of complaints about this #. Finally was transferred to another #, after
explaining all this to the FIRST #, was able to set a time and day for them to come. I suspect that their
"consultants" may be freely giving out customer numbers and they need to know it is SO not ok.

got a call from menards asking questions about installations.....very rude person.....could tell by the pages in backround.....kind of funny for a competitor to call and ask such insane questions

Received a call from this number: "hey f**... you should have waited for me".
I did have a Home Depot visit scheduled - they were delayed and did not come. If these are HD contractors, they've picked the worst of the worst. Won;t work with Home Depot, that's for sure.

Received a call and message from this number. It was truly Home Depot, to confirm an appt I have for a window installment. I contacted them through their website to schedule to appt - and this was nothing but a friendly reminder of the date and time of the appt.

You can sign up on the National Do-Not Call Registry. When you do, the next time they call tell them you are on the Do-Not Call Registry (cell phones now too) and if they call again, you will report them. They are supposed to be fined for calling people on that list.

I too received th call on a sunday. That a good way to lose business. I wont go back to Home Depot.

I too received this call as a reminder for an appointment from a Home Depot estimator re: new windows. Let's hope they don't call me for any other reason in the future. That's a good way to lose future business from me. So far I don't consider it to be a nuisance.

This is Home Depot. They called to confirm the appointment I have next week. I did not give them my number, however, I did call them earlier in the week to inquire about a certain brand of windows. The window manufacturer's website said that they could only be ordered through Home Depot, and since they are special order I have to go through the local contractor they use. I had to get the local contractor's contact info from HD here in town. I set the appointment for an estimate with the contractor, (he had my number since he had to call me back) and he did tell me that I would receive a call from HD to confirm our appointment. So....hopefully, other than this reminder, no additional phone calls in the future.

We received a call from them today, but could not hear anyone on the other end of the line. I googled the number and found the Customer Care for Home Depot.
I don't use Home Depot that often, and when I do, it is shopping in store only, no ordering stuff ahead of time or renting or anything like that.
The question I have is why the Caller ID read as Unavailable.
MS Livid 2011-06-30 15:53:52 Unknown
It's Home Depot. We had hail damage and called them for an estimate, now we have several phone calls from the 1-800-466-3337 a day, one after the other. So I called the number and heard "Hello it's Home Depot......."
Guess who is not getting our business.

This is Home Depot calling - probably in response to an installation request from you.

Home Depot uses a company to call its customers over and over again for this and that then claim stupid about it. Dont give Home Depot your personal information.
What?? 2009-10-26 22:17:57 Unknown
These people are contractors hired by Home Depot, not collectors. If you have ever inquired about services (new fence, A/C, water heater installation) you are on the list. Home Depot does not have any "recollection" of calling because it was actually an independent contractor affiliated with Home Depot calling.
Chelley 2009-07-01 18:22:38 Debt Collector
Received a call from these people also. My guess is that this is not the home depot, in fact, I'd be willing to bet money that these are collectors. They use a program like SkipTracy which allows them to enter in any telephone number they would like to show up on caller ID. They want your address because they either want to serve you with legal documents, or repo your vehicle, or put a lien on your house, etc...These are called "Trap Calls" and they are illegal. If you call home depot and they have no recollection of calling you, it is because they didn't. Do not give any identifying info. to these people. Especially, confirming or denying your address, phone number, place of employment, even your name! Hope this helps.

I've gotten 3 calls from them w/in the past hour, but they haven't left a msg. -- VERY ANNOYING! They were calling me a while back as well, but then it stopped for about a month and now the calls have started again.
Justin 2008-07-23 18:28:23 Unknown
I get them too, and ya i filled a sweepstakes like a week ago actually, just when they call give them alot of details and lead them on and then act weird like say your a nazi and you are very homosexual and see what they say.
Chaz 2008-06-20 17:43:00 Unknown
If you filed out a sweepstakes or prize card at your local home depot/trade show etc. you will get these people calling you at least 10 times.
Naomi 2008-06-08 22:22:38 Unknown
They have been calling me REPEATEDLY and sometimes leaving messages for someone else, even though my voicemail very clearly states that I am NOT the person they are trying to reach. How OBNOXIOUS.
S 2008-04-12 16:33:39 Telemarketer
I have gotten several calls a day for the past month from these people claiming that they are from Home Depot and are wanting to set up a window installation appointment. I did tell one that I want my number removed from their call list. The person said he couldn't do that unless I gave him my name and address. I refused to do it. The phone calls just keep coming.
HOw can I stop this?
Linda 2008-02-21 16:10:14 Unknown
Got a call to make an appointment to install a water treatment system. Call was made to my cell phone. I've blocked the number so I don't expect to hear from them again. I told the woman on the line that I defintely had no trouble with my water! I did have a hot water heater installed by Home Depot 3 1/2 years ago but they never had my cell number. I recently attended a home show and I wonder if I filled out a sweepstakes form.
Dennis 2008-02-12 19:10:52 Unknown
these idiots have called me 4 times so far today, plus another dozen times over the past 2 weeks...they've only left one message.
