Telemarketers calling using some kind of phone proxy so it will show different numbers from different states. I got 4 call in 2 hours and 9 minutes (according to my caller ID). All 4 were the same person, 2 were from the same number and the other two were different numbers

The person calls asking for a charitable donation but will not give address information of the charity. This is a SCAM.

Call from this number.  Caller ID showed as "Public Safety".  When I answered....no one responded,  but could hear voices in the back ground.  One said "they picked up on first ring".  When I redialed the number, I got an automatic message from the phone company saying that the number had been disconnected or was no longer in service.  

BEWARE: UNPROFESSIONAL SCAM ARTISTS. I have an unlisted phone # and am on the Do Not Call registry, but, nevertheless, received a call from this # which is listed in Arkansas. The Caller ID showed "Public Safety", they had my name and said they were calling on behalf of disabled/wounded veterans (by the way it is Veteran's Day, what a perfect time to scam people). The woman said her name was Sabrina and that she was a paid solicitor. She asked how are you tonight. I said fine, but then politely asked if they would remove me from that list. This woman then launches into how she wishes that veterans did not have to lose their lives and limbs for "sorry a***oles like you". I told her "I AM a veteran" and she goes "no you are not" and then hung up.  I looked up the phone # and see others have noted it is a scam organization that is very pushy and constantly requesting $ on behalf of various organizations (breast cancer, reducing internet predators, etc...). If you are savvy and don't just listen to their line of BS, asking for verifiable information, they hang up on people or cuss them out like this jerk did tonight.

This company, LAS, LLC is based in Washington, DC with an address of 4200 Wisconsin Ave Suite 106-115 Washington, DC 20016-2143. HARASS THIS ADDRESS. Oh, the phone number is 202-393-0220. You can go onto www.sos.wa.gov to look this info up with the registration number being #233. HARASS THIS PHONE NUMBER IF POSSIBLE!! Make sure to block your number the same as they do!. So, I just called them and hung up on them..LOL!!

This number has called my home phone repeatedly after I asked them to take my name off of their calling list.  When I asked who it was that was calling they hung up.  I am so sick of these types of calls.

someone from (501) 781-2208 keeps calling and hanging up. How do we stop this from happening? I am on the do-not-call list but that doesn't seem to make a difference anymore. Some how my number was given to this caller and today I answered and all i heard was breathing then they hung up.

I have received several calls from this number - if I answer the man asks for me by my first name and acts like we've been friends forever!   I have tried calling the number but get a voice mailbox.
My caller ID only says Arkansas call - has to be a telemarketer.  They have called me at least ten times in the past week!   I don't answer.

Recieved several calls, leaves no message.  Called the number back, goes straight to voice mail, left a message with my number to take me off their calling list, I am not interested in their scam.  Let's see if that will happen!

Got a call from this number.  Didn't recognize it so I let answering machine pick up the call.  Man sang Elvis Presley's "Heartbreak Hotel" and hung up after a few lines.

some one keeps calling and when you answer they hang up then when you call the number back all you get is a answering machine. I have no idea who or what they want , but its starting to be a problem.

This number (501-781-2208) called my house this morning. My husband answered the phone and they asked for Ms. Henry. He asked "who is calling please" and the person (male) said "nobody" and hung up. I looked up the area code and it came from Arkansas. I called it back and it went to a voicemail. I said "someone just called me from this number" and hung up. They never called back. I get furious with telemarketers. I wish the government would ban ALL telemarketing!! Something needs to be done!

Just got a call from this number.....caller ID came up "Public Safety, " so I let the machine take it, they left no message.  Just a few minutes prior to this call, I got a "private caller" on my ID, which I didn't answer either, and they also left no message on the machine.

DOES REPORTING THIS DO ANY GOOD AT ALL?  EVERYONE ELSE IS SAYING THE SAME THING WE ARE GOING TO SAY.  IS THERE ANY WAY TO GET THEIR PERSONAL UNLISTED PHONE NUMBER SO THAT WE CAN HUNT THEN DOWN LIKE THE A***OLES THEY ARE AND GIVE THEM A TASTE OF THEIR OWN MEDICINE?

This number called, and asked for my by my first name, I said she is not in can I take a message, the guy was rude, and was like no I will call back, so about 2 minutes later I recieved another call this time when I say hello The same guy who had called me 2 minutes before is asking for me by my last name. Wth, I said no leave a message, and he hung up. It comes up as either public safety or private name and the phone number

They called me again too this morning (07/21/12)- "Public Safety" was what appeared on my caller ID.
Anyone have an AIR HORN for when they call again?? Maybe intead of saying Hello (I didn't answer the call) - next time they call... Maybe the way one says "Hello" - may be with an air horn . The Dollar Store usually has a good supply of them! UGH!!!

The caller asks for my wife Melissa Phillips, when I tell them she is not home they hang up, if I ask who is calling they hang up, getting tired of these rude people. Who are they?

I  got  the  first  call  yesterday  asking  to  speak  to  Constance. I  asked  who  it  was  and  no  response  so  I  hung  up. I  received  another  call  today  but  nothing  from  the  other  end.

Collecting money for police .police don;t  call people for donations that live in another city .

They just called me.  Since I have caller ID I let it ring.  However the answering machine picked up and she was calling out my name as if it was an emergencey.  Since caller ID said "Public Safety" I picked up the phone thinking someone in my family was in trouble.  Needless to say I was not happy when she began to solicit money for breast cancer survivors.  I told her I was not interested and she hung up on me.  Not very professional at all!

Haha, I just got a call from these people. Didn't answer of course. Thank Goodnesss for the internet. Man, I hope they call back! I will verbally destroy them; make them cry. I live in NC. It was "Public Saftey," on the caller ID. Unacceptable!
