They call my phone every day and I have npo idea who they are

These people call several times a day.  I don't answer and they don't leave a message but they keep calling back.  Stop the madness.

I am too and they keep calling.

recieved a phone call today from this number 5018590344, say they needed information  on mazagines people have been recieving that were damaged from their company,needed to verify personal information on me. my birthdate,i did not finish with the call, hung up on them.their names were john, and thomas gordon.

I received a call about 30 minutes ago pretty much asking what the employee said about confirming whether I am receiving my magazines on time or not. I signed up for a magazine scam a long time ago and I am still receiving some magazines so I figured it was because of that. They has the last 4 of one of my credit cards but I haven't seen anything charged. I told them that I paid my membership in full and I don't want anything else so he asked me for confirmation so I asked for a number to call him back. They gave me 888-299-8272 which worked when I called back. When I spoke with the person, it made me feel a little bit better that they didn't really have my card. They said that they would call me back. They scare you but as long as you don't agree to anything or give them your credit card information again, you should be fine.

Calls many times a day. I don't answer unknown caller.

do they use people's credit card into for other reasons or sell to market?

Continous phone calls,,,,from Dallas and Tampa.. Asked about updating list of magazine so i wouldn't have automatic renewal for 5 years.  Used the name of previous magazine compnay I had used, now called Coastal Reader Service.
  Number they called from was 813-217-5938.

Please stop calling my pohne.I recieve oveer 5 calls a day from this number.It is abuse and I will report you. Jonh the supposed supervise is rude and unprofessional.

They call me every day, I have not been answering cause when I did two weeks ago they tried to get my credit card number for a magizine subscription, I told them your not getting my card number because I don't even know who I'm talking to, you called me, and I don't want your services. And they still call!

I just called the number and got a message..it is a magazine sales for over 200 magazines..that we can buy if we want them we don't need the calls...right!!???

they call and hang up all the time without leaving a message. No name given on who they are. "private". Chickens!!!!!!!

The complaints are legion, as we can all see...so, why is this company allowed to continue to flourish like the green bay tree?  Complaint after complaint is filed, we use the "Don't Call" registry, still we get harassed!  We should not have to pay the cell phone charges for minutes, or pay to change our numbers--to say nothing of the inconvenience.  I am an older person not in good health, and I don't need to run to the phone several times a day for this idiocy!  Whatever scam they're running, I'm not buying and couldn't care  less what they have to say.  Leave people alone!

Okay - ditto to everything that has already been said.  I am a working single mother so I have to leave my phone on for er's but my co-workers must think I am very popular because I have this company and another one that calls non-stop.  It is harassment and there needs to be a way to stop it?!?! I work with a bunch of smarty-smarts so I am going to put them on it from the technical side and will keep you all posted.

These guys keep calling me over and over even though I'm in the "Do not call" list. I'm tired of these bozos so I picked up the phone. They did have part of my CC number of file even though I have never given it to these guys. I did tell them I'm single and unemployed but the person on the other line said they would put in a previous employer just to get the processing through. Long story short, I hung up on them. I have now changed my number and credit card.
I'm going to report them to the Bureau of Consumer Protection now.

You've got my vote!  I am so sick of getting heckled night and day, and I don't want to change my number!  Why should we have to inconvenience ourselves because of these toads?  The national don't call register is obviously a joke. they call anyway and evidently aren't afraid of repercussions!  I hope someone writing in to this site finds out who and where they are--then we can hide and watch!

What happens if you are already set up with these people? Can you then cancel?

I, too, am sick of calls from these mystery harrassers...What good is the National Don't Call registry if the calls continue to come in droves?  It doesn't help a bit.  Why aren't these vermin being fined?

I am a senior citizen with health problems that keep me inside most days.  I don't need to be jumping for the phone only to be hounded by these pests!  Enough, already!

THEY WILL CALL YOU ASKING IF YOU ARE RECEIVING YOUR MAGAZINES CAUSE THEY ARE HAVING SHIPPING ISSUES IN YOUR AREA. THEN THEY TELL YOU THEY NEED TO UPDATE THE ACCOUNT AND ASK YOUR AGE, OCCUPATION, MARTIAL STATUS, AND A "SURVEY QUESTION" WHICH IS WHAT CARD OUT OF VISA, MASTER CARD, DISCOVER, OR AMERICAN EXPRESS OFFERS YOU THE BEST SERVICE. WHICH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. THEN THEY TELL YOU THEY NEED TO TRANSFER YOU TO THE SUPERVISOR, WHICH IS NOT REALLY A SUPERVISOR BUT A "CLOSER". NOW MIND YOU THE ONLY INFO THEY HAVE IS YOUR NAME, PHONE NUMBER, AND ADDRESS. THE REST OF THE INFO THEY GET IS FROM YOU UPDATING YOUR "ACCOUNT". THEY SAY YOU GOT SIGNED UP THROUGH A PROMOTIONAL OFFER. THEN THEY WANT TO LOWER YOUR PAYMENTS TAKE 6 MONTHS OFF YOUR SERVICE AND REMOVE THE AUTOMATIC RENEWAL. THEY SAY THEY NEED TO RUN YOU THROUGH THE ORIGINAL RECORDING FOR THE CHANGES TO GO INTO EFFECT WHEN IN FACT YOU ARE ACTUALLY SETTING UP A NEW ACCOUNT. THE BEST WAY TO GET OUT OF THIS IS VERY SIMPLE. EVEN THOUGH YOU TELL THEM YOU ANY TO CANCEL AND THEY AGREE IN 6 MONTHS YOU WILL GET ANOTHER CALL FROM THEM OR EVEN IF YOU TELL THEM YOUR NOT INTERESTED OR ANYTHING. THE ONLY WAY TO GET OUT OF THEIR SYSTEM IN FOR THEM TO (WHAT THEY CALL) KILL YOU OUT. WHICH MAKES YOU NOT QUALIFIED FOR THE PROGRAM. THEY WILL NOT DO SINGLE UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE, OR SINGLE STUDENTS AND THE AGES THEY DO IS FROM 19-69. BEST THING TO DO IS SAY THAT YOU ARE OVER 70 AND YOU WILL NEVER GET A CALL FROM THEM AGAIN. NOW THEY DO GO BY DIFFERENT COMPANY NAMES.... THE ONES I KNOW OF ARE: ISLAND PERIODICALS, COASTAL READER SERVICE, WESTERN RENEWAL SERVICE, TREASURE COAST, AND PREFERRED RENEWAL SERVICE. THEY ARE ACTUALLY BASED OUT OF FORT MYERS, FLORIDA AND THE REAL COMPANY NAME IS MO MANAGEMENT, THEIR DIRECT LINE IS ACTUALLY 239-217-6049. I HOPE THIS HELPS EVERYONE.
